OP's dad is truly a doormat.

He mostly stayed for his daughter but he should've divorced the moment she moved out.
You are incredibly strong for deciding not to invite your mom and Owen to your wedding. You don't need to tolerate their negativity.
Personally…if I was in OP’s shoes…I would never have even considered inviting her.
U had every right to not invite her cuz she didn't even apologize for the criticism she did to u. Plus OwEn criticized u too and then goes off and dates our mum for almost 4 YEARS
If somebody smugly tells me that I am lucky she's dating me, I'd tell her "Oh, okay, if you think you are too good for me, let's break up, it seems relationship means jackshit to you, well it also means nothing to me, so no reason to keep going, you can go now, bye!"
I got to be honest, I would be grossed out for the fact that her ex could potentially be her stepfather and her mother is a lot older than him. Not trying to make judgmental for age but this is about her parent with her ex which it’s messed up in so many ways that I can’t help but cringe 😬 and not sure if my poker face could help cover my cringe face…
Here's what you do you drop your mother from your life and don't ever let her speak to you again don't let her come to your wedding don't let her talk to your fiance your future children anything and then because your dad has been so good to you and been there for you through all of this he deserves to know the truth so you need to man up and tell him what you know
