- Here are all match points won against Roger Federer at Wimbledon. Which players defeated the swiss maestro the most often at his favourite Grand Slam where he set so many highlights? Which players could convert match points against Federer at Wimbledon?
In 2019 Roger Federer famously failed to convert two championship points on his serve against Novak Djokovic to win a 9th Wimbledon title. Nevertheless he is the record Wimbledon champion, having won 8 titles from 12 finals on the grass courts in England. With a record 105 match wins Federer has only been defeated 14 times at Wimbledon. 4 of those losses came before the start of his dominance in 2003. Fed's loss to Berdych in 2010 was the quarterfinals, not the semi finals. Berdych then beat Novak in the semis but lost to Rafa in the final.

Only Djokovic could win against Federer in Wimbledon more than one time? Insane as well Nadal in Garros.

@Laland_1196 that's silly. Federer was 32 to 33 in 2 of those finals. Playing with an improved net fluency which is why he wasn't losing in the qfs or earlier as he did a couple of times before 2014. His strategy made him more formidable than ever and almost unbeatable at Wimbledon for anyone besides Djokovic for that reason.
As for the other guy saying Nadal wasn't fit.. that's what happens when you expose Nadals lateral movement over and over again. If you can hang in the match with him and drag it out into a physical battle by constantly forcing him to move laterally, he often gets injured because his body cannot keep up. The issue is that unless you're playing your absolute best on clay, it's never gonna happen. Djokovic dug deep and stayed in there in 2021 to break Nadal down bit by bit and that's the fact. That's why Nadal was playing amazing until the end of set 3 and then his body just couldn't keep up anymore.

Federer fans have been always saying Federer is old since US SF 2010 When he was just 29 yo😂😂😂
It was considered old during those times as per tennis standards and nearing old in overall sporting context. But then the fitness quotient changed throughout all of sports.
And match fitness was never Roger's strong suit unlike Nadal and Nole. His declining fitness was evident in the 08 final itself. He made a lot of unforced errors towards the later stages of the match. Which he continued to do mostly throughout after that, apart from the 17-18 rejuvenated seasons.
