We have had Our Ranger Tug R27OB "Channel Surfing" for about 4 months now. This video is how we have made this boat ours. We have done some upgrades to personalize it. We will walk through the boat from a boater's perspective, not a salesperson's. Once you see one of these boats in person, they sell themselves.

Who needs a super yacht? It's like having a camper on the lake. It looks like something I'd like to have when I retire.

The thing I don’t like about the exterior window covers is the get wet. Then you have to rinse & dry them prior to storage. They do use the limited space well. And the quality is well known. Lotta boat for 27’.

Hey guys! Nice job on the video intro of your boat. I’m jealous. I am contemplating owning one soon enough. Just seems like the perfect size little ship! Cheers. Many happy days afloat for you!

I just discovered your videos and absolutely love them! I live on the east coast in South Carolina so Ranger Tugs are not a very common sight around here. I’m looking at the R27 as my next boat as I absolutely love the design and features that Ranger put into the boat. The only thing I’ve heard about the R27 is that because of the narrow beam it can be very rolly in anything other than calm water. I would be especially concerned about sleeping aboard and getting severely rocked by passing boat wakes. I have previously owned a 34ft sailboat with a similar displacement so I’m used to a lighter boat getting moved around but I figured I’d reach out to you guys and see what your thoughts on the whole “comfort factor” of the boat was like. Thanks!

We have a 27' outboard like you, but haven't seen the top end performance that is advertised. Top speed around 27 mph? How do we compare to yours?

GM..I have the R-27 on order, and coming in Sep. I will have the Luxury edition with the Lithium-ion battery and would like them to install 2 more solar panels for a higher watt output, and amp output. What is the make of your ac. unit and how many watts is it? ty. love the channel...
