This looks like a lot of fun! I like the idea of personal recommendations, but imagine it's really hard to do, particulary when somebody's favourite genres are different from your own. Looking forward to hearing the recs and seeing the reactions, but it's hard to predict a winner. Nell's camera angles and Leandra's talk of stalking and murdering give the video a Netflix true crime vibe, implying the competition gets really out of hand. If 'Booktube Bloodbath' or 'Dabbling in Death' comes to streaming in late 2024, I'll know who to blame :)
It has been a lot of fun to put together! I love the vibe of each of the booktuber competitors. We definitely played up the reality TV energy! Dabbling in Death has a nice ring to it.🤣 We shall see if the executives at Netflix have any taste.
