Target Monopoly is real. If you don't know, in the USA there's a supermarket chain called Target, and they made a Monopoly variant. It's so full of propaganda, but it's actually fun??
This somehow made me remember a relatively weird game from my childhood. It was called "Das Wirtschaftsspiel" (The Economy Game) and was, at least I think, used to promote free markets and european intervention. You could either be a producer or a consumer, but being a consumer meant that you basically couldnt win and you rather needed to buy as much factories as possible and just flood the market. I dont think that was intended, but well...

Ok something got messed up in the transcriptions of the french pronunciations because the j in “je” and the g in “manger” are not pronounced “sz” they are both (best i can describe without using the international phonetic alphabet) j sounds. I wonder where the gamemaker got those if was a bad dictionary or they mis-heard
I wondered if that was just a poor transliteration of the sound, but a different card spells it zh like a sane person, so that can't be it.
They lied to me
The phonetic transcriptions for languages are not really universal if you’re not using a robust system like IPA. They’re also not all that useful because vowels are pronounced differently by English speakers depending on accent, so I don’t think it was meant to be accurate, just close enough. Gives you the gist of things and you’d probably be understood by native speakers.
Same with German. I think the creator just took the Berlin pronunciation which sounds obnoxious to most Germans.
Buenos in spanish is not gender neutral, it had to say "buenas" as well, other than thay his pronuntiation was spot on

Being from Switzerland, I speak both French and German and I have to say, not only was it entertaining to hear, but the best part was how much it clearly entertained YOU! That's what language should be all about; fun exploration with a drop of edjucation :3

I played this game a couple years ago with my family. We had a fun time, making fun about how it’s a giant ad for AMEX. I always had great luck at the casino and won hundreds of dollars. While not the most engaging gameplay, it was honestly not bad.
This really was one of the board games.
I don't know why the German part made me laugh so much, because you literally spoke it exactly how it should be!
