To be honest the new editor doesn’t have the same ability to make the videos as funny as peon used to make them , he doesn’t understand humor , he’s bad at it , but other than that , the edition is great
I visited a tree outside the first village and the tree wanted people to stop eating its children (Apples) A quest...gave me poisoned apples, I went into the town and that woman you killed was in love with the baker...so I gave the baker the apples, he made a pie for his girl and she died. He then attacked me and I killed him, and that guard watched it all then said...it's so boring here....
I know I am late.. When I got to the tree, I was given the option to tell the tree it still had good in it. So in turn I got a blessed apple that I gave to the fisherman who in turn gave me some food. Might be because my first char (yea just started) was speced into druid tree. I do like that there were multiple choices and each are interesting, not a bland no consequence result.
@@steveheffner bro I started playing a couple of days ago and 20 hours in I just realized about this lmao. I also told the tree he still had good in it and never realized those were poisonous apples. This game has some incredible depth

I have like 150h in this, the game is great and is getting updates. There are very cool dungeons in Gedonia, cool quests too. Its way smoother now too and the end game requires a lot of skills and play well with a good build.
18:00 I wouldn't say Unity games looks bland. I used to think that too, until I played Genshin Impact and realized it is a Unity game. My life changed afterwards! 😲😱
Gedonia is a really good game, glad to see you bring it. If im not wrong the game is on version 0.29 so is far from the final version, but as you said i really think this game will be an RPG gem. It is a really fun game with many stuff to do, and the dev is working on it, soon it will have a whole new zone with more stuff.
16:28 Yeah there is at the moment some performances issues, when you have stuff poping in the distance, since the game has a relativley big drawing distance. The Guy is working on it and it is his #1 priority. Desactivate the bloom and lower the quality of the grass to medium Helps greatly.
Had this game for a while, and jumped back into it a week ago to see how its doing, its definitely enjoyable and impressive for an Indie game. I do have to agree though with the optimization, had the same issue you had where I kept getting random screen freezes while turning my camera around, makes it very hard to stick with because of it, if they fixed that I would be more interested in playing more consistently.
Two-years-old video...I just picked up Gedonia this week and made it to lv20 before looking at any gameplay or reviews, and this is NOT how it starts now. I didn't know there were other modes besides open-world 😅 I also had only four perk-points to begin with. Bold move killing off NPCs right off the bat, but that guard's disregard for citizen safety was hilarious! Interesting to see how much the starting area has changed, isn't this game by just one developer? (Yes, confirmed below, thanks.) Good bit of work keeping it updated. I've ran into some definitely weird...glitches? features?...but so far nothing that seems to keep me from progressing. The dialogue is pretty funny; the lady dressed like fancypants Robin Hood called me a weirdo. 😂 Honestly this video isn't helpful to me as far as the game goes, but I enjoyed watching your shenanigans. My first-and-only character so far is doing the "lawful good" thing, I'll have to make another eventually who's a little more chaotic. Gedonia 2 is on its way, maybe you'll try that too and I'll see that video before it's two years old!
IDK how peon doesnt have over a million subs yet? he does the best first impressions by a mile. funny, witty, informative, and gives a really good analysis at the end from his perspective which is usually pretty spot on! Keep it up man
All the money in gaming is in the fad games like fortnite etc. MMOs are kind of a dying genre which is why I expect his Channel will grow more now he's beginning to step away from them.
I played this game about halfway through last year, seeing how far it's come since then is incredible. There werent any open world events like that popping up all over the place so those have to be pretty new and have room for improvement. This games questing was so incredibly well done. There's also lots of hidden puzzles the game might not hold your hand with to solve. Lots of great stuff in this game.

Your willingness to try indie games has put me on to a few of them. I appreciate what you do and that you’ve expanded your channel. Great review and one game I will likely try out once it’s had an update or two! Thanks, Peon.
Great content. Even tho I will probably not play these games, your videos are entertaining from start to finish and i look forward to the next one every time.
After 7 hours of play and 22 levels (Cause I'm a casual who is pushing hard for max level ASAP) I have to say the magic paths are absolutely excellently designed and very satisfying in combat as you get into higher levels. Flight alone is incredibly useful for travelling!
Sorry of you've covered this game on the channel before but Swords and Magic and Stuff is a fairly new rpg on steam that's looking pretty good. It's about to be updated soon, in like a month or so, but it has enough content now to warrant a deep dive. I'm sold on it myself but the attention it's getting is lackluster compared to the quality of the product so it would be nice if it got the publicity it deserves. Great video btw.
I bought this game a couple months ago and let me tell you, the progress the dev has made is astonishing. When I played it you couldnt even get past the third quest because it would bug out and softlock you. Its quite amazing to see.
Had this game on my wishlist for a while now, since Click4Gameplay did a video on less known rpgs. It's not expensive and I will pick it up some time soon. Thanks for this video on it! :)

Right now its 4$ on steam, the game isn't finished, and it as some performance issues and bugs, but the guy doing it is doing his max to deliver. And after 7hours of game, i must say that i love it( and 7 hours is really just the beginning 2 zones. Gedonia actually looks amazing. i can hear my friends tell me about this game already..... "there's no END GAME, it's terrible, no one plays it"..... Because a game can't just be "fun to play".

I played a couple hundred hours. I actually really like that you're "encouraged" (basically required, but I generally do that, anyway) to play multiple types and subtypes of each class. The major reason I quit playing was because new character slots were being released slower than I could level new dudes up. There's probably been a lot of updates, since then (a year or two ago).

Oh my god I totally forgot I had this game on Steam! I played when it first came out in EA I think in June 2020 or so, it was very barebones then but man did they do some work on this one it looks like. The Quests and Plot are simple and classic, but well managed (after all its ONE GUY doing all this)
The Gameplay mechanics are very solide
You can make a variety of builds, and the gameplay mechanics works very well.
Its a simple systeme of you having some core skills, that will change depending on the Elemental Skills you use.
You could have the Blink, Elemental attack and Skeletons skills, but if you're using the Blood magic skill that lets you imbue yourself with the Power of Blood, or the Holy magic skill that lets you imbue yourself with the Power of the light, the Skills works kinda differently.
The Basci elemental attack skill is a fireball spell, simple and effective Ranged spell, if you use the Dark element, than it is replace by a ray of Dark magic, that put debuffs on the targets.
If you use a Blood element, it turns into a Blood scythe that spins in front of you to hit multiple enemies.
If you use Lightening or Ice, it turn into an Electric arc or an Ice Spike.
Its an easy and simple mechanic, that allow you to make some builds, even tho the skills counts isn't many.
You have also Mastery skills, like the ability to Transform into a Blood Demon for a while (you have wings, so you can fly and glide while you're transformed) or a Werewolf if you maxed out Nature magic.
It is quite impressive and fun.

I played when it first came out in EA I think in June 2020 or so, it was very barebones then but man did they do some work on this one it looks like. I'm installing right now, it looks very impressive for a very small team and quite open in letting you do things your own way, which I like.
this game legit looks and feels fun, something that most expensive games are missing out. Sure graphics looks bad but as long as it's fun it doesn't really matter.
