Wow Love the 1967 Buick Gs Converitable. I had a one year Old 1967 Buick GS 400 Red 2 door Hardtop 4 Speed with Hurst Shifter very Fast and lots of fun to drive Wish I would have kept it!
Unfortunately I never had a GS, but I had two of it's bigger brothers. 1969 Wildcat 2dr 430ci turbo 400 coupe and a 1971 Centurion convertible 455ci loaded... Great cars, miss them... The 455 turbo 400 all stock, put that in 1st gear and stomp on it and it would lift the front suspension up to it's max travel and pull like crazy and make some good sounds out the resonators delete dual exhaust it had...
I ordered a 67 Buick GS 400 in 1966. Got it in December, I loved that car. Sadly, I lost it in a flood that covered the city of Fairbanks in August 1967. I put less than 10,000 miles on it. And yes, it had the "Star Wars" air cleaner.
Randall Frank - Aww. Sadly indeed. I feel your loss with you. I had a ‘66 Skylark that was totaled when I was struck broadside in it late summer of 1986. Miss that car on a regular basis.
Thanks, DENNIS and all: great Buick Show.......Anyways, on second thought, that 1970 GSX BUICK SEEMS like it should be used : that 510 LBSFT * TORQUE , RAM 455 I.: and it was HEMI & Superbird , KING TORINO TIMES! **interestingly, a 1970 Dodge Coronet500/ RED BODY/Black vinyl 383/4 BBL WAS MY FIRST **NEW CAR PURCHASE ,after Pharmacy School: @$3100.00 full Deliver price.! Anyways, we could have preferred a BUICK STAGE, GTO LOADED,OR Plymouth SUPERBIRD(to much drama, and long):: lot more money In those days...(* though I do have,SOME regrets not ** tracking a **1970 PLUM CRAZY PURPLE SUPERBEE /or Yellow HEMI convertible etc., ACTUALLY THE 383 was pretty strong, etc).
that 455 is very rare , but i would still let her go at the Nationals there, and that setting is a perfect venue for it. Rare cars are cool , but if you cant run around in them once in a while , other than being Ed and just looking at it , boring.
My first car was a 1970 Buick Gs and I loved it. My brother gave it to me and many years later. I gave it to his son.
Absolutely Feckin Awesome
Prototype gsx is #1 favorite car of ALL-TIME ❤❤❤❤🇺🇲💯🏁
In my top 5 muscle cars. Gorgeous. Bad ass.

Kinseydsp - I bet you do. I would’ve regretted that decision also.

That 67 convertible is nice
That’s gotta be the most Bad A$$ car show in the country. I’d be in heaven there even without my ‘70 GS, ‘70 GSX, GN or even my GNX.
