It’s already happened several times. - Imperial Mask featured a “teammates matter” mechanic like Battlebond. - Lucent Liminid was the first enchantment creature, a staple of Theros. - Future Sight had the first 3 cards with Delve, the Sultai mechanic from Khans of Tarkir. - Virulent Sliver and Snake Cult Initiation use Poisonous, which was originally planned for All Will Be One before it was tweaked into Toxic. - Ghostfire inspired Battle For Zendikar’s Devoid mechanic (as well as the character of Ugin). Finally, while not a mechanic, Fomori Nomad was the first reference to the Fomori, who were referenced in Lost Caverns of Ixalan and are likely the major antagonists for the next multi-year story arc.
@@yellowpie- Steamflogger Boss was the entire impetus for Unstable (the entirety of the set was built around him, up to and including the fact that it was decided the factions would be ally colored so the Steamfloggers would be RG) - Tribal was used in Lorwyn block but that wasn't really reusing a mechanic from future sight, that was an intentional hint at the next sets (like the mention of Planeswalkers on Tarmogoyf) - Colored artifacts were originally intended to be used first in what would become scars of mirrodin block, but would first find a home as a key part of the Esper shard on Alara - Grave Scrabbler doesn't introduce Madness, but it is the first card to act differently if you pay its madness cost vs casting it normally, and that would be reused in Shadows Over Innistrad (bit of a stretch but I think it's interesting nonetheless) - Boldswyr Intimidator introduces the 'Coward' mechanic which was a theme across uhhh two cards in Modern Horizons (yeah that definitely doesn't count)
Will we see more future sight keywords or older keywords *example being threshold or Shadow* returning, like I would love to see more bushino cards too
If you mean return to Standard (cuz these mechanics pretty recently returned in MH2), then I doubt so, especially Threshold, as it's just too easy to reach (it's a 7 on the Storm Scale, btw, and Shadow is an 8).
Wither being on Massacre Girl is different in that it first appeared in a normal set, whereas Gravestorm, due to being from Future Sight future sheet, is a... uhhh... special case.

They already used up a 'murder of crows' joke on Unfinity and it's possible they just didn't want to do a repeat.

I’m excited for, and scared of, when you finally make the set(s) that have one of the future sight mechanics as one of the tent pole mechanics.
