Wow lol it all makes sense, i played with uneasyrabbit near gc2 soloq, he threw 3 games in a row and was super tilted the entire time. Im pretty sure he decided to play 3s after being demolished in his ones session😂

because even though he is using no mechanics, he is still smarter than the people he plays since hes ssl, so its still unfair matches
yeah, his positioning, decision making and defensive skills are enough to make a GC look bad.

RL is such a wicked game. Somewhere some silver is sweating heavily with heartbeat pounding trying to hit the damn ball, and here, look at this guy... reaching GC putting while putting in less effort than it takes for someone to read bedtime stories.
comments like these are kinda stupid. beef has put thousands of hours into the game, his game sense and basic car control are a universe away from a silver, because he has put in that effort throughout all his playtime. an absolute beginner picking up the game would not be able to rank up as quickly or easily as this even if they followed the exact instructions from the video because they haven't mastered basic controls and don't have the same in game experience. even something so simple as shooting a ball with moderate power consistently on target will take a new player a lot of effort and practice

Yo Chief, I'm around the D3-C1 area in 1s and I've been here for a while, the games just feel really sweaty and it gets way too much for my braindead mechanical self to handle. Could you possibly make another video where you go in depth a little bit more so I could get that push into the next rank?

Man every one of these videos I come across, the opponent is always much worse in the video than my games. I'm peak D1 in 1s currently P3 and my opponents do not miss and hit flip resets like 5 times a game. It's frustrating.

The precision on your movement is so much higher than anyone in the low ranks. "No mechanics" should include inconsistent simple mechanics
showing with consistent simple mechanics you can get grand champ though

It's definitely easy when your movement is almost perfect. I guess it's a lot of being smooth around the pitch, and then game sense
I’m in c3 in 2s I hardly play 3v3 or ones at least not seriously but watching this it actually helped me understand a bit more. Especially for a non mechanical guy like myself.

i never did like these "no mechs to gc" vids...An SSL doesnt become a plat just cause he aint using fancy mechanics. There is still a visible hyperconsstency to the simple mechanics you still do (the cuts, the carrys, the open nets, the flicks), not to mention the game sense, all product of thousands of hours. There is a take away for sure but the value in these isnt as high as people make it out to be
I think what you'd learn best from this is how to see your enemies. Like I learned to not challenge everything and understand most players at these low ranks will give away possession by themselves.

I feel like your c3 games were much different than my c3 games. Either that, or my defense really is just that bad. Every game, or every other game, my opponent is hitting a perfect flip reset where he can place the shot super well. Meanwhile, every counter play I get I just screw up entirely by getting a super weak flick.
Great content, and can't wait for the rest of the videos! Once you finish this and have a decent sized break, maybe try doing it again on west servers (my region) to show how trash I really am lol
Yeah, shadow defense, fake challenge, and flicks sound easy but it's subtle how good he is at the fundamentals. Not easy to replicate.

This is the only real gc with no mechs video out there. Chief stuck it the entire way. Most creators add mechanics as the rank goes up but Chief literally did nothing the entire game. Give him his credit lol

I know this sounds like a lot of the cocky comments but maybe not if you read it in a neutral tone, I've just hit diamond 1 after being stuck in plat for a WHILE and people in EU servers play nothing like in the video, they speedflip kick off, fake, shadow defence and don't air dribble as often. I have no idea what's going on
Irresponsible content. Smurfing is against RL's terms of service. This kind of behaviour will deter lower ranked players from continuing to play, thus killing the game in the long run.
Its not that educational when often the editor just cuts to a moment where beef has full boost, possession, and a strong position to score. Like duh, most people gonna score from that. It's more important to show how to wrestle that control in the first place.
I think that is natural when you are watching a condensed RUclips video and not the original stream. If the video had every moment of each game it would be 2 hours long, and most people wouldn't have watched it. There is still a lot to learn from this video however!

just to let you guys know he means no flashy mechanics. his basic mechanics are miles over his opponents so training mechanics is not pointless. your brain can only take you so far without basic mechanics like his. fundamentals

@Vesu1 1s does take a lot of time to get down, you can't challenge stuff in 1s like you would in 2s. Completely different gameplay. But my Peak in 2s was around C3, I've always enjoyed 1s tho.

That's true. But a lot of people build a ton of bad habits along the way. Then once in a while a video comes out and exposes a ton of bad habits from players at every rank. Makes it look shockingly easy but it can be hard to get rid of old bad habits we developed over time.
