The Super Tac is a very cool model, and a huge boon to droid players. I modeled mine with the hanging blaster on the left side, and converted one of the bent arms to hold a vibrosword on the right side. I've been running Kalani with Aggressive Tactics, Commanding Presence, and Elecrtrobinoculars. Typically, he's been supporting my AAT, and it's not uncommon for my tank to have three aims, a dodge, and a surge token. I also run my tank with an OOM droid so that I can give my tank an order, and kick off my B1 chain. Very fun!
Awesome to see the super tactical droid over in the U.S. at last, will hopefully get one eventually, curious to see how it would do with a tactical droid at it's side.
Absolutely love these guys. Strategies and overide are both brilliant keywords. Found both named options useful. Don’t know why I’d ever take the generic. Also makes the 2 pip strike card usable with sharp shooter 2
I can't wait to get my hand on this model! I like Kalani the most as well. I think I'll do the hands behind the back pose, but I might do the clenched fist with a different arm not sure now.
I feel Kraken will be really neat for skirmish games. Points matter there and having nice melee non-jedi allows you to put extra 80+ points of units :)
Has anyone thought about running a Super Tactical Droid as a "junior" tactical droid? Just run it with a different color scheme and maybe use some of the parts from the Droid Specialist.
I wonder how effective a dual-wielding droid could be sense humans can't really dual-wield sense we can only really focus on one thing at a time but a humanoid droid might be able to do it or it might not be physically possible for the human anatomy to dual wield.
I got 2, 1 for Kalani and 1 for Kraken I gave Kraken a electro whip from the magna guards, so I can say he is "Kraken the whip".
Great idea!
lol
That’s brilliant haha
the wait is over! cant wait to get mine!

Dang that sounds epic! I just picked it up today, gonna run a Skirmish with it and a unit of B1,B2 and Droidekas
Have fun! My Super Tac is still one of my mainstays.
This droid is so cool! I loved when they were first introduced in the clone wars!
Very strong unit with those sharing keywords
Can’t wait to get some of these new units. Getting a ton for Christmas
Grand Admiral Thrawn in Legion. I cant wait to see that.
This is one of the coolest sculpts so far
Amazing droid I might get this for my friend who loves the separatist especially kraken grime the clone wars. love the legion unboxing vids.
"Whack him in the little jet pack thingie" has been a fighting staple for centuries.
Looks good. Always fun to see the minis built and posed.
I think you're right about thrawn being like kalani
Seeing these new Clone Wars mini's, I really wanna get the Clone Wars Core Set. Really excited for the giveaways!
I actually got this box about a day ago, super excited to play it
I have had mine for a month and built him with both arms on the back and painted like Kalani he is a great droid swarm commander
I like the design of the SuperTacticalDroid, I might have to get one just to paint when I'm done with my Imperials.
I like your built. With the options in cards i may even built two commanders
I converted mine with the blaster held back "action pose" with a Electrostaff instead, fits Kraken's Overwhelm pretty well :)
Yay new toys! Hope to order this soon.

So how does Reinforcements work exactly? You just deploy your units later?
Yup! Gives you a full picture of where everyone else will be first

I'd definitely build alternative configurations of this droid. Looks really cool
The model is great. Not a CIS player but will pick it up anyway.

I have builded mine without pistol and fighting pose (like kraken when he fought anakin). So cool mini
Miniature build options are great
Nice!
I'm not a seps player, but I have to admit, this is a really cool unit. I hope we get something like him as republic. Yularen?
Yularen would be awesome
Now I may need to start a sep army for legion!

Definitely a unit I plan to pick up, think it’s a game changer for cis
That is a cool model. Glad to finally see a cheaper option for army general.
Kalani looks awesome, now we just need him in Armada!
The only downer for me is the numerous arms and legs. I really want to field multiple versions, especially for my RPG Campaign.
Built mine the same, except the head is looking straight forward.
Kraken seems really good for a melee meta which is what we seem to have these days. Overrun is just soooo good too.
Loving your content!
I have already bought two!
Tactical droid has a Tactical Codpiece..
This game is way more complicated than I thought. But it does look fun.
Haha they really should have rethought the name of this guy 😂😂
It good to finally get another cheaper commander for the droids
release the kraken!
It looks like you'd have been able to build two full minis if the sprue had simply included a second torso.

Star Wars legion looks interesting

Grievous after they made him into a droid.
Early upload for you no?
I like this design a lot more than the tactical droid.
heh, I didn't even know there *were* privacy settings for subscriptions
wish you could run more than one.
it would be nice to get something stronger to compare wokie chevman
Now whenever I think of this Droid, I’ll think I have an STD 😂
Box lies. Its monopose. I mean you technically can glue him in other pose but why would you? XD
still giving the lightsaber away...Jesus how hard is to give the damn thing away!
