- Join us for an autumn evening walk in Volos, Greece, starting just after sunset from the far end of the Volos breakwater, known locally as the "Kordoni." This iconic spot offers panoramic views of the city, giving you the sensation of walking on the sea itself. As we stroll along, we capture breathtaking sky views painted in shades of blue, orange, and pink, perfectly complementing the serene harbour scene. The harbour breakwater is a landmark and reference point for the city, offering a unique perspective of Volos' waterfront beauty.
Our journey continues as we arrive at the marina, where we admire the elegant yachts docked in the calm waters. Moving further along the main promenade of Volos, we take in the lively atmosphere as locals and tourists relax at the many cafés and restaurants. The promenade is bustling with life, and as we walk towards Agios Konstantinos Church, the vibrancy of the evening is on full display, with people enjoying their meals, drinks, and conversations against the backdrop of the city’s evening lights.
We then pass by the University of Thessaly, before entering the peaceful Agios Konstantinos Park, where people are out for evening strolls, enjoying the calm and fresh air. Our walk concludes in front of the beautifully lit Agios Konstantinos Church, just as the bells chime, marking the 8 o’clock hour, a perfect end to our evening exploration.
