It's terrible. A GPZ 500 (Ninja 500) from 1997 made 50hp from the factory. I understand they need to reach Euro standards but there's no innovative tech in a parallel twin motor. This should be a super budget category and Honda and Aprilia are asking way too much $. Why do they need telescopic forks and radial mounted brakes? Motorcycles are De-Evolving.

@AkaiSupido yea most definitely definitely deping on the rider. But we had 250 Inline-4's with 60hp and 400's with around 80hp like the zxr250R that had great breaks and suspension that were much lighter that would smoke these bikes. I feel sorry you kids didn't get to experience it.

Ninja 500 onboard stuff is botched. ABS you only get on models above the "base". You get a TFT with the SE. Idk what your terms of smartphone connect are, but on the Ninja 500, it's just the rideology app. Which has Imu data recording... among other things. This feature section feels a bit rushed. Not to shit on the CF Moto 450, but the navigation has been ass on that, just use your phone from other reviewers. Damn, but then you mention the SE price of the Ninja 500 without everything you get for 800 bucks?
