All of the soldiers have their personal battles and fears. Some participate in operations to take down Chosen, others come back fearing Insectoids. Me? I've twice had to endure Tygan's spoken-word rendition of "Rhinestone Cowboy" during karaoke night. Give me a Chosen any day.
Fun fact, when I was messing around with reaper builds I found something interesting about Banish, Annihilate, and repeaters... Im not sure if I just got lucky but since the first shot was an execution, my reaper then proceeded to execute every enemy with the shots he had remaining. Not sure if I was lucky or that's just how it works...
spoiler: if you do the last mission without killing any of them they will pop up there assassin at the beginning hunter at the "reservation" warlock in the last chamber sure was fun dealing with mindcontroling avatar and warlock ._.
I imagine a remake of Xcom apocalypse. A remake without all the problems the original team encountered. A remake that is what the original creators wanted their game to be (with new ideas and more budget of course •w•).
If it does eventually come I hope to god they expand into the kind of stuff mod creators are doing, The Binding of Isaac: Repentance style. Adding cybernetics beck into the mic would certainly expand the combat and that would allow them to ramp up the difficulty to ludicrous extremes
I mean, the whole things is sort of cheap tbh. In the war of the chosen, the player is siriously OP, once he gets into mid game and that it´s just more and more advent dying. They didn´t even bother with details like Bradford noticing that this is not the first time you fight in chosen stronghold. He does during his "motivational" speech, but then in the compound he and Tygon (or whatver his name is) act as if this was you first time there. Plus the lack of cinematics as you said. The war of the chosen is good, but.... lazy a bit.
Idk. My guess is that it has something to do with psionics. Or that perhaps, he was such a loyal adherent to the elders, that they chose to petrify him when he dies. Probably the former. What´s interesting is, that in the armory, where is his corpse, he looks normal.
Serpent Suit would probably be a better choice over the Spider. And looks like Brutal wasn't too much to fear this time - there can be no will decrease if the Warlock can't even attack. :D
Good work. Also, people complaining about the usage of the Repeater...well people complain about everything, wouldn't worry about it. Hope the rest of the campaign goes just as smoothly as this mission. Thanks for the upload.
Reporter: So, Prophet, can you tell us how your first mission went? Prophet: Well, you could say it went *as expected* , haha : ) Reporter: Very cute. But really, how did things go for your down there? Prophet: I was so glad to be off base and out of that little lab, so lets say I was a little excited and trigger happy. At one point I "just happened" to be in the perfect position to nullify three Codexes. The timing and positioning just came together perfectly, thank G-d. Two of those Codexes dropped right there, and the last was hanging on by a thread. What can I say, being stuck as a lab rat for months on end can leave a guy with some pent up psionic frustrations : ) Reporter: Sounds like a thing of beauty. It's interesting that you ended up in just the right spot to lay down a line through them all like that. Impressive. Did anything else of that sort happen? Prophet: Actually in the next room we were just getting positioned when this whole group came charging at us, but in mid-charge I was thankfully able to react quickly and with a single precise shot dropped their Elite Shieldbearer! I have to say I was psyched! If blasting those Codexes hadn't done it, I think that moment helped the team warm up to me. Reporter: In one shot! Wow. That must have felt good. Prophet: Yup, it sure did. From there we made short work of the remaining hostiles then piled up on this platform and ported through to the Warlock's hidey-hole. Reporter: What did you see over there? Prophet: On the other side there were a couple of aliens waiting for us. They thought they could surprise us, but that wasn't gonna happen. One of them was an Archon. I'd seen him before. I'd seen *this* before. Reporter: What do you mean, you'd seen it? Prophet: It was in one of those disturbing dreams I've been having. Reporter: I see. Prophet: So remembering that little fiasco the other day where I turned a few of the psi lab docs into my personal marionettes by mistake, haha, I got really focused and then tunnelled into the mind of that Archon. I'm glad I was able to control him because otherwise in my dream he was going to seriously hurt Darkwood, and G-d knows she's been through enough recently, with losing her good friend Willy. That was really sad. Reporter: Yes, that was a terrible loss. She has our sincere condolences. Prophet: This way he couldn't couldn't attack my friends, and instead I was able to make him help us. Reporter: That's a good thing. Did Darkwood know she was in danger? Prophet: Well, no. That's the thing with this stuff with visions. Sometimes if I tell people it just makes them twitchy and puts them off their game, and it can make things worse, and of course she had more than enough on her mind already, so since I knew I'd be along with her for this one, I just kept my eyes peeled. Reporter: That sounds complicated though it makes sense. Well, that's all the time we have for our interview today. Thank you for speaking with us, and I for one am grateful you're with us! Prophet: Happy to be on the team and to be of service. Prophet: (quietly: By the way, if you pass Drake later in the hallway, you might want to take a step to your right. He's feeling a bit queasy after that last fight... and... umm... things could get messy.)
And I am not sure, but can't the warlocks rifle be used by specialists and psi ops? I think they use the same standard rifle normally, so probably the warlocks rifle will work on both, right? Edit: I just realised that it is probably not researched yet, so it cannot be equiped. My bad. However, at this point his team probably would beat ADVENT armed only with chopsticks... So it does not seem to matter that much.
You can build a Fusion Axe in the Proving Ground Commander Odd, and overall it's a little better than the Fusion Blade. Same damage (I believe), and can be thrown with boosted accuracy. The Assassin's Katana is still probably best overall, but the fusion axe is a nice one too.
Certainly can be used when bringing multiple Rangers, which Odd does from time to time (usually in Falstro + Hajda + Locksmith trio). So this is an upgrade certainly worth spending :)
Nice campaign so far commander :) However, you won't need infiltration missions reducing the avatar process since your plan by now was to destroy the facilities one after another. Consider instead to raise the members of your final team to "Savants" by running the "Raise combat ability" infiltration missions as well as "Gain ability points". Have fun
I am getting irritated how easy the game has got for you :D I am constantly rooting for aliens, what I want to see in xcom 2 streams is frustration and anger of the streamer :D
Another well-executed mission, Chris! A just to watch. Make sure that you get the Tactical Analysis card. It is a game changer especially for the last mission! Without that card (which removes an action from freshly revealed enemies), you will be overrun in the late games. There are missions where you fight 4 pods at once.
BTW the probability of executing while using Banish assuming superior repeater (15%) and superior expanded mag (6shots total) and chance to hit 100% is 62,29%
He currently has improved weapon mods, the Superior expanded mag gives 4 shots instead of 3 and the repeater has a 20% chance to kill the target instead of 15%. I imagine the percentages are a bit higher than 62,29 in this scenario.
I think it is because without the psy energy he looks like an old man,so maybe the warlock was a 90yr old man before approaching the elders and then he spent 20 years feeding off psionic energy to prolong his lifespan
Please grab Serial on Darkwood when you get enough AP! It's great on a shotgunner already (as you may remember from the original long war ITZ, except serial is better than ITZ since there's no -1 base damage per kill) but especially with a high level bond you can use the extra 2 actions you can give to the bondmate to restart the chain if you fail to get a kill or to reposition, and you also have implacable giving you a bonus move after the first kill on top of the action refund. Also the Warlock rifle is gonna feel a little disappointing but note that line that, much like the assassin sniper rifle changes it from "a good gun" to something real special - the warlock rifle has +100% crit vs psionic enemies... which is basically every tough or annoying enemy that's not named sectopod or spectre and definitely includes avatars.
About using the bondmate to restart Serial - if you can "restart" Serial this way, then with Mox (Combat Presence) and Psi Op (Inspire) you can restart it up to 4 times. If you combine with Reaper then probably you can just clean most of the map with one soldier just for fun :D
18:30 ever since I actually saw the ending of this game I kept wondering if maybe there's going to be an XCOM three which has the humans and aliens working together against another type of threat
To prevent the Chosen healing an additional turn, I've always just left them to die from bladestorm on their turn. You had the same situation the first time killing him. No sense in using teamwork to last hit him if he dies anyway. And you waste one turn which can be used to hit the sarcophagus
I kinda forgot to finish off the warlock before starting the Tower mission but he only showed up once during the last battle. I was actually hoping he'd show up like 3 or 4 turns after being defeated each time. But nope.
I'm just taking a breather after the first two rooms. What makes a difference is that my ace sniper this time has Icarus Armour and the Hunter's Darklance / Darkclaw. It is so refreshing to be able to blue-move her and still lay down Long Watch, Kill Zone or Serial. And if an enemy rushes up close and personal, she can Icarus Jump out of there to end up where she needs to be.
Not necessarily. XCOM may be overpowered but if they get outnumbered by the aliens they can still lose. Oh who am I kidding XCOM's got Serial and Reaper skills. Elders are toast 100%
I think the balance of the remote start is good. It isn't always guaranteed to get effective remote start target in the first place. I say no to any sort of Nerf. Nerf is a four letter word btw.
Maybe the damage modifier (x2 damage from explosions) might be a bit too much. The range modifier (blast radius x2) is fine though. Maybe instead of x2 damage it could do normal damage and increased shredding? Or x1,5 damage? I think that as a thing that does not break concealment it does not have to be super-powerful in terms of damage. Or maybe adjust it so that it gets weaker when you loose concealment? There are many opportunities to tune it down slightly yet let it remain a skill worth taking.
It's bonus is 100% crit chance against psi enemies, which is basically every moderately difficult enemy aside from specres (Avatar, Codex, Gatekeeper, also sectiods and priests) so it's better than it seems.
"I wish the axe would, we don't even use it" WHAT?! You realize there's a project to upgrade the axe, right? Is that why you use NONE of the great DLC weapons?
If you kill the Chosen with overwatch/bladestorm you'll get a turn without enemies spawning to hit the sarcophagus, just keep in mind for future campaigns.
Congratulations on the Death of the Chosen. And I don't know if it would be possible, but I do think you should try- TRY to take Homer on the final mission. He should be a superhero by then.
no, the Chosen are not furies. Warlok was a kid kidnaped from remote settlement for experimentation (he can`t be a furie because they were all adults at the time of the invasion), Hunter is believed to be Reapers best operative and Assassin was created from scratch (like advent troopers) to fight skirmishers. You can find all this in chosen files in commander's quarters.
Kind of funny when the weapon they use now are plasma and the chosen weapons but the add-on still a 'round' -dragon round ap round... i think change it to a modifier or somethng would be better lol
Odd, you have Serial on Darkwood as her last X-COM ability in the tree. Serial on a Ranger, combined with Reaper, is a godly combination. (Seen this from Galm's WotC playthrough). Get Serial on Darkwood, PLEASE. It's almost unfair how good it is. I hope you see this comment, because I was kicking myself when you didn't even notice it whilst looking through the choices, lmao.
I've been following your playthrough and am wondering why you haven't upgraded your hunter's axe. That one free throw is a boon in many ranger premature reveals. And additionally I like the Shadowkeeper's cloak ability, nice to be able to sneak past when your position is out of range. But then again, I most often do more dashes and less overwatches due to placement progression over firepower on enemy turns. PS. Executing rulers are sweet. Did two on my current playthrough.
Lucky you didn't run into the Warlock a lot during this game. Brutal is bugged in that it permanently lowers will whenever the chosen attacks. That can end your game in just a few encounters. (There's a mod out there that fixes it though)
So on one of the missions it was the hunter by the way I killed an avatar while they was there and the hunter said it's a useless thing that can be replaced
24:02 bro you need(ed) to pay attention to abilities and reading descriptions. You're always worried about Templar killing a purifier when he has FORTRESS. You just noticed he's immune to acid but he's also immune to explosions AND fire....
Will hacking ever be good at a Ranger though? I think it will be hard to outmatch the Specialists. And with no gremlin, it will be of a very limited use (Skullmining?)
My theory is that he doesn't want to take from the "shared pool" unless he feels that it is absolutely necessary, and is thus waiting for Darkwood's pool to fill up when she take a flank/highground/whatever shot. Which seems to refill the shared pool only.
Does anyone else think it would be cool for the final mission if you had to have 9 people (one from each class of troop including avatar) The twist is that you have 2 fight all 3 chosen one final time in the last room regardless if you have already killed them Your troops would be: one sniper, grenadier, ranger, specialist, phi-op, reaper, templar, skirmisher, and commander's avatar...
Now, the Warlock will pay for all Repeaters and Socks he stole from the Avenger! Also Revenge for Orange.
just imagining the Warlock stealing a bunch of socks. "Finally, XCOM will be rendered helpless by their cold feet!"
"XCOM will fall, sock by sock! MUAHAHAHAHA!!"
YEAH! WE NEED TO TAKE BACK OUR SOCKS! ALSO OUR UNDERWEAR! THOSE DAMN STEALING UNDERGARMENTS CHOSEN
to be fair orange was a death that could have been avoided
Warlock seems to be most the most boring among all Chosen.
All of the soldiers have their personal battles and fears. Some participate in operations to take down Chosen, others come back fearing Insectoids. Me? I've twice had to endure Tygan's spoken-word rendition of "Rhinestone Cowboy" during karaoke night. Give me a Chosen any day.
lmao
42:57 "You lack conviction"
*Proceeds to get executed*
That's the second time a Chosen has underestimated the Reapers. Goddamn.
Fun fact, when I was messing around with reaper builds I found something interesting about Banish, Annihilate, and repeaters...
Im not sure if I just got lucky but since the first shot was an execution, my reaper then proceeded to execute every enemy with the shots he had remaining. Not sure if I was lucky or that's just how it works...
very nice!!!
And all 3 of the Chosen have been shot at, which missed, so they mocked that, then they instantly get executed.
That rifle is an Avatar killer.
I'm sure Klaus would be more accurate at throwing darts rather than shooting with his pistol.
Sesla Houi what if he made psionic shuriken to throw?
Or psionic frisbees? xD
That's a flawless chosen assault on legendary. Damn dude, nice work.
spoiler:
if you do the last mission without killing any of them they will pop up there
assassin at the beginning
hunter at the "reservation"
warlock in the last chamber
sure was fun dealing with mindcontroling avatar and warlock ._.
RJSoylent that's your fault buddy
for science!
i think its a chance. Cause i did a playthrough where i tried to finish before july and i didnt go for any chosens. Only warlock appeared
Did they had any unique lines for the last mission?
HellVops mine said a generic your troops are gonna fall to me commander the first time and nothing the second
never did like the warlock compared to the other 2 Chosen, glad to see him gone. Good work Odd!
"you must submit before the true enemy appears." that tells you XCOM 3 is coming.
Let's hope so because this series is too freakin good to end here
I imagine a remake of Xcom apocalypse.
I am disappointed at the lack of a cinematic after the death of the last of the chosen.
I mean, the whole things is sort of cheap tbh. In the war of the chosen, the player is siriously OP, once he gets into mid game and that it´s just more and more advent dying. They didn´t even bother with details like Bradford noticing that this is not the first time you fight in chosen stronghold. The war of the chosen is good, but.... lazy a bit.
Questions. Why does this one petrify while the other just simply flop to the ground?
Idk. My guess is that it has something to do with psionics. Or that perhaps, he was such a loyal adherent to the elders, that they chose to petrify him when he dies. Probably the former.
What´s interesting is, that in the armory, where is his corpse, he looks normal.
Warlock has a bunch of important dialogue after the sarcophagus is destroyed
Granted, who would the Elders talk to? Everyone is dead.
Odd you can upgrade the hunter's axe in engineering
He knows he just doesn't care
Reporter: So, Prophet, can you tell us how your first mission went?

There’s a button called ‘Make Weapons Available’. Please press it and give Hadja the Assassin weapons.
He gave it to Darkwood tho.
but he ain't taking darkwood on the next mission
There also is a button called 'Make Armor Available'. Please press it and give Bossman the Serpent Suit.
And I am not sure, but can't the warlocks rifle be used by specialists and psi ops? I think they use the same standard rifle normally, so probably the warlocks rifle will work on both, right? Edit: I just realised that it is probably not researched yet, so it cannot be equiped. My bad.

At the Very least he could equip it on the other top Ranger so if he has both they both have GOOD melee damage...
Imagine using domination on the Chosen
How insane would that be?
Get Jelly I think they are immune.
They just shrug off the Jedi mindtricks like Jaba the Hutt ;)
For godsake Chris, STOP FORGETTING THE ASSASSIN WEAPONS! AND THE SUIT AS WELL!
The Warlock said "You must submit before the true enemy appears". Then does that mean something even more powerful hunting the elders down?
That much has been implied in the endings of both XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2.
TERROR FROM THE DEEP
Warlock has a BUNCH of important dialogue after the sarcophagus
Brian W He also implies the Commander is a chosen because he tells the Commander to join him like the elders children.
Nice campaign so far commander :)
However, you won't need infiltration missions reducing the avatar process since your plan by now was to destroy the facilities one after another.
Then watch my playthough as I get rolled like a drunk on a Saturday night.
I won't lie: it was a satisfaction to see Willy's death...
I totally have the 8 man squad mod going for my game. Its so useful. and it makes since.
Another well-executed mission, Chris! A just to watch.
Make sure that you get the Tactical Analysis card. It is a game changer especially for the last mission! Without that card (which removes an action from freshly revealed enemies), you will be overrun in the late games. There are missions where you fight 4 pods at once.
only if ya screw up your movements.
I don't remember but don't forget chris on buying all the perks in the guerrilla tactic school. If your rolling in the money of course :)
That fortress skill on your templar should make him immune to explosives including exploding purifiers.
Chris, don't forget the Assassin's shotgun and katana for your ranger.
48:20 I didn't know it was impossible to be speechless like this
It was like Odd got turned to stone like the Warlock lol
You forgot about the assassin's weapons AGAIN!! And this time the serpent suit as well. Jezus Christ
I imagine the percentages are a bit higher than 62,29 in this scenario.
like zhippy says, so that lift the probability up to 79,03% of executing
I live how the Chosen look mounted on the wall.
Why did the Warlock turn to stone upon dying ?
Is this an effect of psionics ?
I think it is because without the psy energy he looks like an old man,so maybe the warlock was a 90yr old man before approaching the elders and then he spent 20 years feeding off psionic energy to prolong his lifespan
He was engineered to have way too much psi power, about as much as any one elder. On his death, the energy went wild and petrified him.
Fortress saves you from explosive damage as well, so go for that Purifier next time. ;)
You always forget you have a repeater until it activates. The last "Executed!" for me was the Berserker King. Which was nice.
The Warlock gets a terrifying strength that causes permanent will loss. Never even gets a chance to attack.
Yes Scorch :D
can't wait for the Klaus's log to come in now. anyways great vid commander. these videos make my day!

Yeah you absolutely can do this with inspire and combat presence too. It does work with Reaper too but that suffers a damage penalty per kill.
Darkwood no longer has a bondmate. RIP Willy :(
OH :( RIP!
18:30 ever since I actually saw the ending of this game I kept wondering if maybe there's going to be an XCOM three which has the humans and aliens working together against another type of threat
Wasn't it one of past XCOM games? Like Apocalypse?
The ending of this game makes it feel like it's a prequel to Terror From The Deep
8:23 Dragunova - Always observe your surroundings - And the lection was delivered
Snake, Berserker, and Archon are the Three Rulers Odd. 👌
if you use the reaper ability first go for the enemy with highest hp
I love how the ruler mission is called "operation God Father"
To prevent the Chosen healing an additional turn, I've always just left them to die from bladestorm on their turn. You had the same situation the first time killing him. No sense in using teamwork to last hit him if he dies anyway. And you waste one turn which can be used to hit the sarcophagus
same with wasting time chasing down that codex. could have blown up that Sarcophagus first time.
I kinda forgot to finish off the warlock before starting the Tower mission but he only showed up once during the last battle. I was actually hoping he'd show up like 3 or 4 turns after being defeated each time. But nope.
Darkwood, Fain and Solomon are XCOM's Chosen. Darkwood's the Assassin, Fain's the Hunter and Solomon's the Warlock
Haha, awesome.
You can use the templar vs purifiers the explosion wont hurt them thanks to fortress
I fucking love The Warlock theme. It's my favorite track of the WOTC ost
I'm just taking a breather after the first two rooms. What makes a difference is that my ace sniper this time has Icarus Armour and the Hunter's Darklance / Darkclaw. It is so refreshing to be able to blue-move her and still lay down Long Watch, Kill Zone or Serial. Man is obsessed with Bluescreen rounds.
Flawless Stronghold - awesome
You can use the Reaper to close the doors to block LOS.
That ending is something people will write songs about
I think we know for sure, the Elders are toast. 100%
Not necessarily. XCOM may be overpowered but if they get outnumbered by the aliens they can still lose.
Oh who am I kidding XCOM's got Serial and Reaper skills. Elders are toast 100%
Nero Mystyra and to add to that they have skirmisher, reaper, Templar and psionic redicilousness
I think the balance of the remote start is good. It isn't always guaranteed to get effective remote start target in the first place. I say no to any sort of Nerf. Nerf is a four letter word btw.

There are many opportunities to tune it down slightly yet let it remain a skill worth taking.
Odd: "I'm gonna give teamwork here because her chances are higher to hit." Me: Odd's gonna have to bust an Odd.
I don't get it
He didn't need teamwork, the bladestorms would have killed the Warlock. Better to save the teamwork and just shoot with Dragunova.
It could have stayed still and Mind Controlled/Dazed
I found the warlock weapon to be disappointing compared to the assassin and hunters weapons....
Novawolf4000 give me an amp
It is still pretty good. Better than a Beam Weapon I suppose....Different Stokes...
OldDood it's good but compared to the other weapons
It's bonus is 100% crit chance against psi enemies, which is basically every moderately difficult enemy aside from specres (Avatar, Codex, Gatekeeper, also sectiods and priests) so it's better than it seems.
Christopher you have a better version of the serpent suit in the proving grounds!!!!
also has anyone seen the chosen on the trophy wall?
"I wish the axe would, we don't even use it"
WHAT?!
You realize there's a project to upgrade the axe, right? Is that why you use NONE of the great DLC weapons?
Serpent armor and 2nd war suit
Psi Amp tooo
Wraith suits on Assaults is trololtastic.
Commander ODD you have to do a Red Dead play through. Before number 2 is out love u love ur work
Odd, you gotta manufacture the ionic ripjack for mox, it retains the ability of stun and add the aspect of burning
Lord of Wars he already has the ionic rip jack, the fusion rip jack is the upgrade and it doesn't stun without a mod
I would love to see a Stargate total Conversion Mod. It think that it could work really well.
If you kill the Chosen with overwatch/bladestorm you'll get a turn without enemies spawning to hit the sarcophagus, just keep in mind for future campaigns.
I've been waiting for this!
Christopher...Where is the *'Super Shot Gun'* (Assassin's Gun) for your Ranger on the next mission?
Congratulations on the Death of the Chosen. And I don't know if it would be possible, but I do think you should try- TRY to take Homer on the final mission. He should be a superhero by then.
Mr odd is a now me god considering he got a flawless against the the warlock without any mind sheilds
When I did this mission I killed the Warlock in a single overwatch shot. It was pretty funny.
OMG he is actually using other kinds of ammo
11:25 "to think I once considered myself a part of your race." Chosen = XCOM's furies confirmed?!
That'd make annette Durand the assassin
no, the Chosen are not furies.
Oriaks oh ok. Didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know!
Kind of funny when the weapon they use now are plasma and the chosen weapons but the add-on still a 'round' -dragon round ap round... i think change it to a modifier or somethng would be better lol
I think the best way to solve these missions is to take two Grenadiers and Rupture, Chain Shot the Sarcophargus until it is broken.
TFW you get here too early and you can't read Klaus' log D:
What does TFW mean?
Nero Mystyra That Feel When
I've been following your playthrough and am wondering why you haven't upgraded your hunter's axe. Did two on my current playthrough.
hey buddy whens next divinity original sins vids loving that series
really wish there is a cutscene where the elders sort of lost their shit a bit knowing all the chosen dead
In my playthrough I am still at part 24. But I will take a peek.
Lucky you didn't run into the Warlock a lot during this game. Brutal is bugged in that it permanently lowers will whenever the chosen attacks. That can end your game in just a few encounters. (There's a mod out there that fixes it though)
About time!
Can you use "banish" on the Chosen's capacitor/healing/monolith thingy?
No
Could you remote start claymores? that sounds like something that could work
46:59 A fitting end.
So the Chosen are no more... who will save the Elders now? Also Fain could use the serpent suit instead of spider.
So on one of the missions it was the hunter by the way I killed an avatar while they was there and the hunter said it's a useless thing that can be replaced
At 7 minutes in why dont you attack the mec first with reaper slash? Armor penetration would kill it
Were the chosen human before?
More like snorelock!
24:02 bro you need(ed) to pay attention to abilities and reading descriptions. You're always worried about Templar killing a purifier when he has FORTRESS. You just noticed he's immune to acid but he's also immune to explosions AND fire....
Shoulda invested in EMP grenades dude.
Can anyone please tell me the name of the mode he uses that show the aliens killed count numbers on the background of the armory screen?
It's vanilla, they always show the numbers.(I know cause I have no Mods and they still count up)
Has that Templar ever hit an overwatch shot?
@ChristopherOdd remember to take the weapons of the chosen for the ranger. Pretty op if you ask me
Keep improving Homer's stats in covert missions like his hacking and his Dodge his Dodge is pretty high
Will hacking ever be good at a Ranger though? I think it will be hard to outmatch the Specialists. And with no gremlin, it will be of a very limited use (Skullmining?)
TheBlobik i forgot Homer wasn't specialist
Try taking a frost grenade for the ruler.
Why won't you get shredder for Darkwood?!
My theory is that he doesn't want to take from the "shared pool" unless he feels that it is absolutely necessary, and is thus waiting for Darkwood's pool to fill up when she take a flank/highground/whatever shot. Which seems to refill the shared pool only.
Holy shit! Not even one damage to your troops
Does anyone else think it would be cool for the final mission if you had to have 9 people (one from each class of troop including avatar)
The twist is that you have 2 fight all 3 chosen one final time in the last room regardless if you have already killed them
Your troops would be:
one sniper, grenadier, ranger, specialist, phi-op, reaper, templar, skirmisher, and commander's avatar...
I have played like mad but still not found that ourfit that looks like a snake, only found the berserker queen and killed ehre for the rage armor :/
I wonder who gets Warlock weapon(s)? Templar?
