Good evening 👋😊 Helen 🌹 Thank you for sharing your journal pages your altered book is coming along nicely now too congrats 🎉 stay safe and be careful 🙏✍️🖌️🎨💌🌹👋☺️ enjoy your weekend too 👍🦄
Watering down the gesso seems a brilliant idea! Your pages look fabulous Helen! Your videos are so inspiring just to get out your materials and get going! Thank you and take care x
I usually take my pages to the edges. I’m really loving your technique where you create a faux border just by not going quite to the edge. This one was great with all the different layers. Love it ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Helen, you definitely have favourite colours of those paints 😄 that beautiful orange looks well used! Your pages look like the inside of a beehive. They turned out wonderfully. 🧡💛 Also my head is spinning with inspiration and new ideas. I've been using my markers the past week, but my watercolours just might come out this coming week 🥰
Thank you so much Willemijn 🥰 Oh yes, that’s definitely one of my favourite colours! It’s so vibrant and joyous 😁 I’m so happy you are feeling full of new ideas. I hope you have lots of fun with your journal and watercolours 🤗💛🧡
I am so behind in video watching 😅 but that also means I get to binge-watch so many of these! Love these colors and textures so much. And I was captivated by your ephemera folder! Maybe a tutorial? hopefully I haven’t missed one 😊❤
Thank you Helen....this was so relaxing and inspiring. I’m looking forward to getting out my dies and doing some gratitude pages. I’d like to make an ephemera folder too. Do you have a video on that? Thanks, Nan
I’m really happy you enjoyed it, thank you Nan 🥰I don’t have a video on the ephemeral folder, but I used two pieces of folded scrapbooking paper for each signature. I then used some tracing paper for the pockets. I used a large circle punch to cut half a circle on the top of each one. I used a sewing machine to add the pockets. I hope that helps 💕
Hi Helen, I've been looking forward to seeing more of your altered book and this was a wonderful page. Where did you get you black and white people images from please. Thank you
Thank you so much 🥰 I took out nearly all but two pages from every signature, so I probably only left about a 6th of the pages in. You can find the video here if that helps 💕 m.ruclips.net/video/mRpRToKp-R4/видео.html
