Did you know you could use the 3 veteran Atreides Snipers and Kindjal to upgrade newer ones? Once an Atreides soldiers has reached lv 3 veteran you can enter the barracks with it and it will make sure all the next ones have 1 bar of veteran XP. Do it 3 times and you get max veteran infantry for that mission/map.
Good to know that this game is not forgotten. It seems that Westwood didn't manage to finish it all, i found a lot of cut content in files. For example, Sardaukars have fully functional APC and battle tank. I remember how i tried to make lesser factions fullyplayable. I failed of course, but building Mega Cannons was fun.

EBFD is notorious in that it is almost imposible to make decent mods for it. I never managed to get far into it, but i changed some files to allow building of units and buildings that either appeared only in campagin or were never used in game proper.
Кстати у тех же фрименов можно по нажатию кнопки G включить Guard Order, т.е. они будут атаковать врагов в зоне видимости, а не просто сидеть по жизни в инвизе как крысы. Это помогает, когда ты тащишь их кучу вместе с Сардаукарами. Видишь враг на тебя ползет, ты им сразу по кнопке S останавливаешь и они сами гасят врага, разбирая цели, а не тупо по одному весь урон. По кнопке T можно выбрать всех юнитов того же типа, который у тебя выбран на экране, а если дважды быстро, то на карте. Кнопка P выбор всех вооруженных войск на экране, дважды быстро - на карте.
Фрименов лучше не использовать в связке с другой пехотой. Куча противопехотного вооружения фигачит по площади, так что пока враг атакует Сардаукаров, заденет и свободных, а они довольно хилые ребята. С федакинами ещё хуже, дружественный огонь у звуковых пушек мама не горюй. В связке с другой пехотой они для своих куда опаснее чем для врагов.
@@Rik-Falkorn это так, у всех фрименов прописан особый тип брони earplugs(затычки для ушей). Это не отменяет того факта, что смешивать федакинов с пехотой других домов - плохая идея.
Yop, this looks about the same as when I played it. OP minotaurs and orni swarms and fremen, although later I stopped using ornis and fremen, because they are expensive and easily die. I only used them to take care of superweapons when I was out of time.
Spread out your minotaurus or other defensive units holding the line. It makes it easier for the repair vehicles to keep all vehicles in a good state without having to go around in front of them 👌
You get starter edilte infantry not to stiffen your early army but so you can add them all back into the barracks and upgrade them to generate elite recruits.
I finished this by setting up turret + minotaurus defences and spamming out projections of sonic tanks to deal with the waves of attacks so they atleast got thinned out before reaching the base. Once the timer started I rushed with mongoose, minotaurus and repair vehicles towards the worm, scouted by fremen utilizing the weirding modules. It turned out all that was needed to finish the worm was a group of 20-30 fremen with the weirding modules 👀 "FOR THE DUKE"
A group of fremen speaker would be good at decimating enemy bases. I simply use the artillery and advance carryall. Just require a little trick to open up those turrets.
This is impressive, I've won with each race, but I wasn't able to destroy / capture all of the buildings. I noticed that you were able to filter out the lag as well.
On a side note, this game should add features of customization composition of reinforcements, and turn it of when there are too many units on map. Also it should have a feature of “capital management” like Earth 2150.
Yea I remember I was using them a lot. Put them in rocks formations so they are not run over by tanks, around your heavy vehicles and you have all the support you need. When in numbers they do tons of damage on every unit and building as well, not only infantry.

В этой миссии надо с помощью мод.транспортера перебросить бмп с инженерами и захватить дворец гильдии.произвести 4 или 6 танков.телепортнуть к имперскому червю. и заколбасить его. и победа. чтоб живые турели тлейлаксу не сбили транспортер перед перебооской бмп с инженерами надо эти турели расколбасить.

every proper CnC game is a must game to have in my PC every damn time.

you did not use any standard Sardaukar - who are great at taking out infantry in one shot. They are like the RA2 Navy Seals, but better.
