And it was not disappointing. When he said that line about the big gals wanting to release his tensions, it looked like GB was about to faint haha. Never a dull moment with Rip.

Phil Golden's All Star Wrestling on television in Paducah, KY in 1972-73 was my first wrestling I saw. Rip and I watching at the same time probably. I used to go to National Guard Armories from 79-83 to the ICW shows in Western KY and So Ill.

I first saw Bruiser's show, briefly, but ICW was my real "in" to pro wrestling, with Rip and the Convertible Blonds, the Poffos, Pez Whatley, George Weingeroff and Ronnie Garvin. I grew up near Decatur, IL and the Springfield tv station, as Rip mentioned, picked up the show and they promoted matches in Decatur and Springfield at least once a quarter. Loved ICW wrestling and it led me to the others, once we had cable.

Rip Rogers the guy who trained some of WWE's best guys like Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Mark Henry, Dave Bautista, Randy Orton, and though not full time Pat McAfee who is great for how much he wrestles. Plus many more, WWE should have him run the performance center.

I'm old enough to remember the last third of his career. He is quite the character. If you look closely the first 45 minutes of this interview every time he curses and uses the f word Gerald and JBL look a little squeamish. They wanted him to be himself and that's what they've received
