i think this zhask is easier to play but overall weaker. We lose both the double procs of lightning truncheon's burst damage and starlium scythe's true damage, not to mention the CD and mana they provide as well. While the laser beam sounds nice on paper, it requires the spawn to stay alive, and late game the spawn evaporates under burst damag. Making it unlikely for the damage to actually end up being higher in the long run since the spawn will just die anyways. The only thing the new version does better is make him stronger early game and easier to play, at the cost of a large amount of late game damage via skill expression. This concept is really fun and I like it a lot, but from a logical standpoint its questionable overall in terms of viability. If they really wanted to improve Zhask, they should've kept the base spawn's second skill interaction, allow it to use one basic attack before activating the death laser, keep the new changes to the ult spawn's hybrid def and hp adjustments, as well as the new ultimate positioning and reduced foreswing time for skill casting. That would be the ideal version of zhask.

As a zhask main, they should bring back where beam are considered as a skill so I can abuse starlium starlight(it was calamity reaper back then) again.
To add also: they need to fix the treatment on zhask summon like they did to other summon heroes but unfortunately, it is still treated as creep currently which means it still easily dies to retribution spell.
They also reduced some outplay potential against him, since the ultimate can be targeted now, you can no longer play around his spawn since he's just gonna ult on you instead of the spawn or himself
As a Zhask Main, here is what I think about this revamp. 1.) The continous Death Ray is good but the Slow Effect Reduction means even Heroes without Dash could escape your spawn's Range easier. But I wonder if Malefic Gun will be a good Item for revamp zhask since it gives additional Range when making basic atk and death ray is basic atk dmg. 2.) Now that the spawn don't use 2nd Skill together with Zhask, his wave clearing will also become slower. It is also a Nerf on zhask Burst dmg potential when Ult is on cooldown because revamp zhask now can't trigger Double Lighting Truncheon or Double Starlium effect. But since it is easier to stun enemies and you can now stun Multiple Enemies, I think it gives a little bit more chance to help in team fights and more chance to escape. 3.)Flicker Doesn't Work when your inside the spawn. You cant use it for repositioning. But since you dont need inspire anymore you can now use Flicker or Sprint for more survivability. Or Flame shot to Snipe enemies that Escaped your Range. 4.) Revamp zhask now dont rely on Atk spd and mana consumption is lower, so now you can equip more Magic Pen items. 5.) The Ultimate adjustment is really good and also the compatibility with the new Item. Is the revamp zhask good? Yes. Its more beginner user friendly. Is it Better than the current Zhask? Not really. His early-mid game is now better. Means more chance to snowball. But his. Late Game is weaker which means it is harder to comeback for you and its easier to comeback for the enemies once late game starts. Do I like It? Yes. I think the revamp is better in my Own Gameplay since I dont even use LT on my Build.
I want to be able to control who the spawn should attack especially on ult mode. I hate it when my spawn always attacks minions instead of enemy heroes. Also, that 2-3s ultimate freeze when my spawn is despawning is super annoying.
IMO his 3 main problems are: slow animation, ult positioning, and targeting system. This revamp definitely fixes 2 of them, but I'm not sure about the targeting system. Not a fan of this 2:30 change though. I think they should change his passive into something like Ixia's or Alpha's, Zhask and his spawn's basic attack and skills will leave a mark on the enemies, and the spawn will only use its death rays on the marked enemies.
for me zhask still needs some buffs on his skills like the spawn time of the ultimate(at least make is faster to spawn so that the enemy can still get hit before it gets away from your range. next one is the actual lazer of the spawn. it should be triggering the critical hit and the extra damage per hit of the feather of heaven. next one is a slight longer range for his ultimate since being bigger spwn should be also a bigger range for it to hit. also since he is not a AoE hero that range should be a lot bigger. the ultimate spawn can also use battle spell too when in ultimate spwn form
The main problem with Zhask is that his small robot and his ultimate doesn't activate the talent emblems like Lethal Ignition, the slow from basic one (yellow one), etc. It all depends on his main body. They need to fix that.
Hmm...its better than the current zhask for me. Having better early game damage makes up for the late game lower damage bec you'll scale earlier anyways, and it's nice to have flicker or sprint for escape not just being forced to be on Inspire battle spell all the time..so overall, nice adjustments.

There's still one thing needs to be buffed for our poor Zhask. It's his spwan's durability. It is just a jelly to most burst heros. Sometimes, it just dies just a sec after it is summoned.
I like him very much been spamming Zhask since the changes and it was so entertaining to use tbh. I hope they would also let zhsk lock on target. Because if there are multiple enemies the spwan will try to hit the nearest instead of the lowest hp or high prio her. I had trouble using him againts Sun, because it confused with his clones.

Of you choose in setting to Prio Lowest HP, the spawn will always target the Hero with lowest HP on his range at the moment that he was spawn but it will not change target even of someone with lower hp will enter. But all you have to do is reposition ur spawn then it will reset its target. Also the spawn now prio Heroes > Spawn > Creeps > minions. And will always target the real Sun.
I hope they bring back the old passive of zhask but higher damage and bigger AOE ..They based old zhask passive on the movie of alien vs predator when the predator gonna die it will activate a bomb then boom ....

The new one still got the dmg passive from feather of heaven just not the attack speed, but it's true full build zhask no matter you use attack speed or full dmg current zhask still win cuz of that burst dmg from the spawn 2 basic attack, that 2 basic attack deal so much dmg full item combo with ultimate that enhanced that dmg by 200%
I have fallen inlove for the current zhask just recently and it's pretty sad that they're gonna alter him soon, he's probably gonna be an overpowered boring hero like yin after this revamp.
Remove the option to exit from his ult and replace that with the option to move around in his ult. While in his ult, his first skill could be replaced to summon a basic spawn instead of moving his ult. So there would be 2 types of spawns he could do. One being his nightmare spawn and the other would be his basic spawn. They could increase the range for moving the ult and shorten the range for summoning the basic spawn that way they have to stay close enough until Zhask ult wears off but the basic spawn doesn't disappear. Originally I still think they should add the option to travel from one point on the map and then to another in just one press but people need to hold down the press long enough for the map to widen and make it easy enough to pick a place where to spawn up from. They could leave the function of being able to see where exactly you would be pressing to teleport, before lifting the finger to spawn up at.
It may be easy to say that the new revamped Zhask is the better deal, but his complexity before the revamp is what gave the charm. This is a NERF. Before, you have to think the position of the spawn and how it may affect the 2nd skill and the Ultimate. This new revamp looks and will probably be bring boring plays. He was not broken so they should have not made the changes.

Well elgin is wrong with his late game. The current zhask and advance server zhask has the same strength in late game. Just one beam skill on a squishy is enough to kill enemys and even fighters with the new adjustment because both zhask and spawn can trigger both items (Im talking about the first phase spawn where he can just shoot beams and kill squishy and with less delay with the beams itself.
I think Zhask gets stronger for team fight and I okay with the new ultimate skill to reposition on any spot I hope the developers complete the adjustment after the new season begin
I am 80% winrate Zhask with Inspire+ attack speed build. They killed my main and my response is to quit the game entirely. MLBB devs does not care they will remove anything that was so fun in this game.

The continous attack of zhask's spawn is okay but they should increase its slow effect and shouldnt give gold. It would be nice if they either decrease the cooldown of zhask's 4th skill or increase the HP of the first and 4th skill. It would be nice if the 3rd skill could give vision just like selena's first skill and popol's 3rd skill
The casting time should be shorten and he needs to be able to receive more damage when in ultimate form. Retri would easily melt his ult thus making him useless at times in team fight.
As a zhask main all i can say it was a pretty huge nerf for zhask and i just dont understand why the hell moonton nerf a mage that was pretty weak overall i just cant..... His damage literally sucks so bad....
The reason why Zhask is not popular in the current meta is because he is a DPS mage (on paper), and very predictable. A majority of the mage heroes are mostly burst type but Zhask is unique cause he is a DPS type. He got nice DPS but not enough to replace a DPS Marksman or Fighter so he kinda sits in between roles tbh. Well, we can argue that we can always do a burst type build on Zhask. But, if you want burst damage why would we pick Zhask when we got Vexana, Nana, Eudora, Vale to mention a few.
The revamp was no good. As a Zhask main, the repositioning for the ultimate is great. As this would make Zhask a bit unpredictable. The second skill, tho. I often used it to poke my opponents under the turret, wherein the spawn can reach them while they cannot reach me. This revamp version deletes that. Plus the delay in stun might allow the enemies to flee. Given Zhask's lack of chase/dash skills (except ulti) it make Zhask even more reliant to his ultimate. Lastly, not allowing his spawn to benefit on atk spd items, make Zhask's "best build" be those generic mage items to which, as seen in the video, seems to be lacking a bit in damage. But yeah, let's first see gameplays or future announcements. Maybe they could make magic happens to make this revamp viable.
As zhask main, I want this adjustment to be cancelled on advanced srvr and not been released on official. Super shitty adjustment. He needs some buff and little bit escape or survive abilities, but not this crap.

It's better if they make his Passive explode when the spawn dies, or maybe if the Ult Spawn dies. That way, enemies will think before killing the spawn. Imagine, you're low on hp then killed the spawn. BOOM!!
I think he gained a Buff? He might've lost a Dmg but he's gained a lot of Usefulness Even for Early Game and the fact now the Ult is also more easier to Clashes this is Helpful Zhask Have now Faster Attacks and much more Versatile for Clashes so it's a good balance for decreasing his Dmg bit gonna lie this is one of the few Zhask Revamped i like along with the Latest Transformations in Ult

Moonton please revamped his skins and give him starlight skin aswell. Other heroes have 2 starlights but some heroes don't have.

If the deathray is considered basc atk... will basic atk effects stack? (Like DHS, and the Typhoon activation of Windtalker, not that it would do a lot of damage,but to just confuse enemies trying to shield Zhask's Spawn's atk)

The continous attack of zhask's spawn is okay but they should increase its slow effect and shouldnt give gold. It would be nice if they either decrease the cooldown of zhask's 4th skill or increase the HP of the first and 4th skill. It would be nice if the 3rd skill could give vision just like selena's first skill and popol's 3rd skill
The casting time should be shorten and he needs to be able to receive more damage when in ultimate form. Retri would easily melt his ult thus making him useless at times in team fight.

As a zhask main all i can say it was a pretty huge nerf for zhask and i just dont understand why the hell moonton nerf a mage that was pretty weak overall i just cant..... His damage literally sucks so bad....

The reason why Zhask is not popular in the current meta is because he is a DPS mage (on paper), and very predictable. A majority of the mage heroes are mostly burst type but Zhask is unique cause he is a DPS type. He got nice DPS but not enough to replace a DPS Marksman or Fighter so he kinda sits in between roles tbh. Well, we can argue that we can always do a burst type build on Zhask. But, if you want burst damage why would we pick Zhask when we got Vexana, Nana, Eudora, Vale to mention a few.
The revamp was no good.
As a Zhask main, the repositioning for the ultimate is great. As this would make Zhask a bit unpredictable.
The second skill, tho. I often used it to poke my opponents under the turret, wherein the spawn can reach them while they cannot reach me. This revamp version deletes that. Plus the delay in stun might allow the enemies to flee. Given Zhask's lack of chase/dash skills (except ulti) it make Zhask even more reliant to his ultimate.
Lastly, not allowing his spawn to benefit on atk spd items, make Zhask's "best build" be those generic mage items to which, as seen in the video, seems to be lacking a bit in damage.
But yeah, let's first see gameplays or future announcements. Maybe they could make magic happens to make this revamp viable.

As zhask main, I want this adjustment to be cancelled on advanced srvr and not been released on official. Super shitty adjustment. He needs some buff and little bit escape or survive abilities, but not this crap.
Well, his damage is lower, but landing damage is much easier, some of other problems fixed, ult flexibility. He is stronger now than before, but a little bit more boring.
its ok if weaker damage in late game.. the importnt thing is the continuos damage and slow effect in target.. cause ur not only damaging ur opponent ur allies also
Weak excuse, they nerf him badly that's it. Shitty damage, can't use many important item's for double effects. Only new items help him a little, only variant I think useful now for him is a halftank, cos he can't carry shit now. Thanks to moontoon and dumpsters who thinks this is buff. They never play Zhask main or never understood how he works, he is done now, just shitty support, other mages at this role is much better.

It's better if they make his Passive explode when the spawn dies, or maybe if the Ult Spawn dies. That way, enemies will think before killing the spawn. Imagine, you're low on hp then killed the spawn. BOOM!!

He might've lost a Dmg but he's gained a lot of Usefulness Even for Early Game and the fact now the Ult is also more easier to Clashes this is Helpful Zhask Have now Faster Attacks and much more Versatile for Clashes so it's a good balance for decreasing his Dmg bit gonna lie this is one of the few Zhask Revamped i like along with the Latest Transformations in Ult

those players who argue with me that Zhask is "STRONG" now, look at what happened to us Zhask users. Zhask is so weak now. You cannot kill multiple enemies without using all of your skills in disposal. I'm so disappointed with this new update. I will probably drop this game and try to play HOK instead.

l honestly see that this is very underwhelming ,during team fights the spawn gets killed in one hit by burst damage types. Sure it's better in the early game but like late game is what really matters if it's reached.
