itzy is like known as the THE performance group!! They sort of never really do the same thing but music wise, you should check out mafia in the morning, imaginary friend and loco!! and born to be but its another mv without lia. They do have titles but they all kinda have all positions (for the most part.) but chaeryeong had both the high notes in cheshire and mr. vampire
Lia was on hiatus for her mental health, she was diagnosed with Acute Anxiety disorder and took 10 months off, she was not part of the Born to Be album, promotions, or tour, she also missed the Japanese comeback Algorythm. She is back now and participated in this recent comeback (Gold) she came back officially on July 7th 2024, when she appeared in the MIDZY birthday Live stream as all 5 members of ITZY.

They don't really lip sync probably because they don't lip sync in performances either. They're like BTS with their inability to lipsync lol also when you hear high notes usually it's Lia since she's the main vocalist even though usually yeji has more lines it seems. Im so happy you finally got to react to Wannabe and that you liked it so much! I’m also really glad you reacted to Cheshire, because for the longest time, whenever I hear the chorus on S1D1s I’m always so underwhelmed, but after seeing the MV and hearing the full song for the first time in a very long time, I realize that I actually really enjoy it a lot. Sometimes I need to hear an entire song as opposed to just one part to really get into it. I hope eventually you’ll end up reacting to their solos from Born To Be. They have MVs, but they’re shortened versions. Anyway, Ryujin’s song Run Away is SO GOOD. I’m obsessed. It’s actually my favorite Itzy song, followed by Yeji’s solo, Crown On My Head (a very fitting title), but all of them are great. A good song to react to next by them is Loco. so exciting that you're checking out Itzy!!! i've been following them for years, but their Kill My Doubt comeback last year flipped that casual fan to Midzy (their fan name) switch - they have a really great discography and lots of fun choreos! and yes, they always end with a crown motif! it's fun to see how they change it up with each song my interpretation of the Cheshire MV isn't so much that they're in a simulation, but that they're on set and are kinda asking us the audience to figure out what's a practical effect and what's CG - what's true, what's fake. so that's why they're showing green screens and you watch that bomb that Chaeryeong throws get rendered right in front of you. they're playing a bunch of tricks on the viewers and we're to guess what's real as for recommendations hmmm I love their song None of My Business (it's was the turning point song for me), it's more on the chill side like Mr. Vampire. there's also LOCO which is super fun and high energy like Wannabe. also, their Japanese discography is especially fun! I know that reaction channels sometimes have problems with Japanese MVs though, and while I don't really hear that problem with Itzy specifically I don't really know. so those may have to be personal time listens haha

they do have specific positions, ryujin is the main rapper but yuna and yeji rap too, more so Yuna. Chaer also raps from time to time, she used to more in the early days (like in wannabe!). even Lia raps sometimes, she rapped on a few bsides and the Japanese songs. as for singing, ryujin used to never sing but now she sings a lot more an she has suchhhh a wonderful voice. she has my favorite head voice in the group for sure. Lia is the main vocal so she sings all of the choruses and takes high notes frequently, but almost as much as yeji who is the lead vocal. she also sings most of the choruses (she and Lia used to exclusively sing vocal choruses in the past). chaer has started to sing more choruses after the first few years and when Lia was gone she got all of the high notes. yuna is ofc a vocal mainly as well, she's quite versatile but usually takes verses and has been singing higher more recently. in terms of dancing Yeji and Chaer are the main dancers but usually Ryujin gets center because she's the center of the group and also the lead dancer. I would argue that ryujin has the most charisma on stage even tho they all have equally good stage presence. there's a reason she's always in the center for dance breaks. Yuna is also a lead dancer. Lia is not in the dance line but during her hiatus she improved exponentially, she no longer stands apart in the group at all and im so proud. they all have solos!! you'll hear Yuna, Yeji, and Ryujin rapping on theirs and Lia and Chaeryeong speak-rapping. They also all sing and so does ryujin, ryujin even sings a highnote!

Ryujin is not pronounced like Eugene. U-Jean no. no. no. The Y is unvoiced in Korean in this case and RyuJin is pronounced as ROO GIN (as in the alcohol) Roo rhymes with new.

Actually, the first syllable is not pronounced exactly like an English R but R is the closest. There is no alphabet letter that can exactly capture Ryujin's R in English.
yeh chae is fine its kinda her nickname, is the second ryujin but at the l with the r, but you can say it like that without the l as thats how most people do.
There is no L sound in her name. There is no L R blend, that is from people who have never actually learned Korean from a native speaking teacher. It is always an R sound when it is not the final consonant of a syllable, when it is the final consonant it has an L sound.
Wannabe is their 3rd title track. Ryujin is Ryu (is a blend of a ru/lu sound when it rolls off your tongue) and then add “jin”. Chaeryeong is like saying “chair” but drop the “r” sound and add “yung” is probably easiest way to say her name. ITZY’s concept is self-love/self-confidence. Their debut song Dalla Dalla means different, that single album also titled “ It’z different.” They came onto the scene saying their not like others, they’re gonna do their own thing
The R in Chaeryeong MOST DEFINATELY needs to be voiced. It is not dropped. I feel a lot of you don't consume ITZY content at all and don't listen to the Korean as it is spoken. You are really got that wrong. There is no blending of ru and lu. It's a clear R sound.

Welcome to the club! I know you're a fan of Got7 and IMO, itzy is like the little sister offspring (I kid you not - They kill it on the stage but are also hilarious on reality shows). Their bond/chemistry is just as organic and chaotic as Got7. Oddly enough, they are in the same division that used to manage Got7. Also, Ryujin (shoulder girl) is a Ahgase and was scouted at a Got7 show.

they do have specific positions, ryujin is the main rapper but yuna and yeji rap too, more so Yuna. Chaer also raps from time to time, she used to more in the early days (like in wannabe!). even Lia raps sometimes, she rapped on a few bsides and the Japanese songs. as for singing, ryujin used to never sing but now she sings a lot more an she has suchhhh a wonderful voice. she has my favorite head voice in the group for sure. Lia is the main vocal so she sings all of the choruses and takes high notes frequently, but almost as much as yeji who is the lead vocal. she also sings most of the choruses (she and Lia used to exclusively sing vocal choruses in the past). chaer has started to sing more choruses after the first few years and when Lia was gone she got all of the high notes. yuna is ofc a vocal mainly as well, she's quite versatile but usually takes verses and has been singing higher more recently. in terms of dancing Yeji and Chaer are the main dancers but usually Ryujin gets center because she's the center of the group and also the lead dancer. I would argue that ryujin has the most charisma on stage even tho they all have equally good stage presence. there's a reason she's always in the center for dance breaks. Yuna is also a lead dancer. Lia is not in the dance line but during her hiatus she improved exponentially, she no longer stands apart in the group at all and im so proud.
they all have solos!! you'll hear Yuna, Yeji, and Ryujin rapping on theirs and Lia and Chaeryeong speak-rapping. They also all sing and so does ryujin, ryujin even sings a highnote!
They do have specific positions but it is safe and (I'm) proud to say as a MIDZY that they are all-around talented girls! Hope you can react to GUIDE TO ITZY 🥰

Many people call Chaeryeong "Chae," so that's OK. Ryujin is pronounced the same as Eugene but with an R in the front.
Ryujin is not pronounced like Eugene. U-Jean no. no. no. The Y is unvoiced in Korean in this case and RyuJin is pronounced as ROO GIN (as in the alcohol) Roo rhymes with new.
@incheonguy I didnt say just Eugene but I said Eugene with the R in the front. I guess you mean the same thing as me. Sorry but I am a Korean. Actually, the first syllable is not pronounced exactly like an English R but R is the closest. There is no alphabet letter that can exactly capture Ryujin's R in English.

yeh chae is fine its kinda her nickname, is the second ryujin but at the l with the r, but you can say it like that without the l as thats how most people do.
There is no L sound in her name. There is no L R blend, that is from people who have never actually learned Korean from a native speaking teacher. It is always an R sound when it is not the final consonant of a syllable, when it is the final consonant it has an L sound.

Wannabe is their 3rd title track. Ryujin is Ryu (is a blend of a ru/lu sound when it rolls off your tongue) and then add “jin”. Chaeryeong is like saying “chair” but drop the “r” sound and add “yung” is probably easiest way to say her name. ITZY’s concept is self-love/self-confidence. Their debut song Dalla Dalla means different, that single album also titled “ It’z different.” They came onto the scene saying their not like others, they’re gonna do their own thing

The R in Chaeryeong MOST DEFINATELY needs to be voiced. It is not dropped. I feel a lot of you don't consume ITZY content at all and don't listen to the Korean as it is spoken. You are really got that wrong. There is no blending of ru and lu. It's a clear R sound.
@@incheonguy yehh fs Chaereyong's 'r' should be pronounced. Idk how to explain it tho..both of their 'r's' have like a blend light blend of 'd' in them if that makes sence.
