Join buddy Kyle and I on a much anticipated (for us) trip.
We take a train in to the wild, run rapids, fish for dinner, and explore for a week.

Joe I've been watching for a lot of years now, from that show where you lost your firesteel but since I started fishing recently, your videos are even more entertaining now to watch. Wish I could experience catching a pike from a boat in the middle of the wilderness.

Looks like great fun. Just a tip: kneel down when you are going through the rapids. It reduces your center of gravity and makes the canoe less tippy.
Joe, your French impressions are priceless... love it as always and don't ever change. You guys together is always a blast.

Awesome you & Kyle got to get back out in the sticks! Been using 2 CNOC Vector bags for 3 years now with their inline filter (Orange for dirty, Blue for filtered) & has worked WONDERFULLY! Having 2 bags is handy especially when camping with others. Tuck it all along with my hanging cord & D-ring in a small bankers bag. Looking forward to Part 2!

I can tell you the more you do rapids the more you learn what not, and what to do. Every year we go on our annual trip my spouse and his 12 year old in one and me and my 15 yr old in another.. we've done some pretty good ones.. class 111. Next year we're each going to take our own kayaks and do it were confident the girls can handle it by themselves. We like to stop in the middle of the rapid and fish (best fishing right there) I will say you have to learn a particularly skill to stop in the middle of one and not get yourself toppled.
