I grew up listening to this gentleman. And I LOVE these stories. I wish we had his voice in the day we live in now we sure could use it. God help this Nation. He served in the Navy and he was proud to be an American. I love America 🇺🇸 but we need to turn back to the values that this great man teaches in his stories… Miss you Mr Clower…

Part of my Delta career included 13 years in Memphis beginning in 1968. I remember when Jerry would come through the terminal saying with his loud, booming voice, "Ain't Delta great?" He would visit the operations area also and every agent considered it a treat. Jerry was the best free advertising Delta ever had.

And not a profane or vulgar story in the bunch. Jerry Clower was a national treasure. It's ironic, occasionally you will see on TV, "The Kennedy Center Honors" and they will have assorted entertainers that have supposedly contributed to their craft, but The Kennedy Center would have been honored just by having a man of Jerry Clower's character and integrity to grace their stage.
But he received an honor higher than that when he crossed the threshold of Heaven and heard his Lord say, "well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the Lord's rest".
Thank you, Jerry Clower for showing us that a person could relate the humorous side of life without profanity, without innuendo and explicit imagery, and without tearing another down in everyone's eyes.

Loyalty means a lot if you going to be someone important in life remember this ! Trust is another important quality ! If someone can't trust a person then there's a problem ! To me you aren't much of a person if people can't trust ya ! Don't forget Morals too !

Jerry was funny without being vulgar. Sure don't see that much today - vulgarity seems to be the norm - shoved down our throats just like gay rights and other immoral practices!
