- Record Store Day is Saturday, April 16 and we’re honored to have been chosen as 2016’s official Record Store Day Ambassadors. Record stores are where our musical education began and was subsequently nurtured and shaped, playing a huge role in who we are as musicians today.
Rob is a time traveler, he's actually just giving those records to his younger self.

I love how Rob honored Cliff in this video. Even at 11 years old, Rob's son knows about Cliff! Rob has clearly educated his son about music. I wish all children nowadays could be more educated musically. Not even just metal, but educated about whatever music they are into. Music is such a healthy, incredible art form.

That was so beautiful to see the current Metallica bass player honor Cliff like that and shows some love and Respect for him to his son, I have always liked Rob he is a great bass player and a wonderful person.

I like that he seems to have such a broad spectrum of music he listens to. It seems to be that way for a lot of bass players.
I also love that he is getting his son involved, and opening his mind to all the music out there.

I was recently at a best buy, and I was in the music section. I asked one of the employees in that section if they sold vinyl records. He looked at me and said" I don't know what that is." I replied
"You know, those black vinyl records that spin on a record player?" He said "Hold on let me get my manager" and proceeded to ask his manager if they had vinyl records. This man was older than I was. What the fuck is happening to music?
