Happy to help! Anything that you include in your template link will be available to your customer. Assuming you are putting your watermark over the template for your listing photos, I would recommend to create a separate file for that use.

Why wouldn't someone just Google what they needed and print off the computer from free as opposed to buying a digital product. Like if homeschooling moms are looking for worksheets for their kids, couldn't they just Google those and print them right off the computer without having to pay? Hi Erin. Yes of course people could still do that if they wanted. However a lot people are choosing to look at Etsy for printables to guarantee more niche and skilled products vs just printing a worksheet off of google.

No, you don’t need it to sell on Etsy. You can do more with pro though if you’re selling printables that don’t need to be edited by the buyer (more access to stock photos, fonts, etc) :)

Hi, I made a printable that I plan on selling on Etsy, I have used some Canva Pro graphics to make it look neater and better. I don't have Canva Pro, so for this I just used my 30-day free trial. If I were to sell this, would I have to continue to have pro? And would my customers need to have Pro? Because I used Canva Pro things in my design, and the design needs to be edited by customers.

Are you referring to sales tax or income tax? If income tax, then no- you’ll need to handle that. I have a video on my channel where I recently interviewed a CPA (Janet LeBlanc) all about taxes for Etsy sellers- lots of great info if you want to check it out!
You definitely need to make sure you have the right license (commercial or extended commercial) for the digital elements you’re using. If you’re using Canva elements, you can read through their licensing to make sure you understand what you’re allowed to sell! :)

Hi friend, you should be able to share the “template link” - but try the link out on a friend or on a device/in a browser that you’re not logged into canva with. It should pop up with something saying “(you’re name) created a template”

Canva is available world-wide. Etsy doesn’t operate in every country so that is limited to sellers in the countries Etsy allows. There’s a list on the Etsy website!
Hi I am selling downloadable files that I make on Canva, I have 60 listings, I have had my store open since November 2022 and it is now March 2023, in the last 30 days my listings got 130 views but no sales, I don't understand what I am doing wrong, any ideas or suggestions, I am all ears. Correct, if it’s an editable invitation then using free elements is best practice so your customers have access to everything on the invitation.

It’s not necessary to lock the elements, especially if it is a template for your shoppers to purchase for the purpose of editing themselves

You can start with just one listing. There is no minimum
On Canva can you use the free graphics so for example, a heart to add onto the template you have designed? And it won’t be classed as copyright?
I might have misunderstood do I have to change the link on the PDF after someone buys it and upload a new one?
I was curious about IP issues? I feel like a ton of templates on Etsy are just slightly altered Canva templates themselves.
This is technically prohibited by Canva. You should be creating and selling your own templates, not altering Canva’s already made templates.

GREAT, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN YOU USE PRO ELEMENTS TO CREATE A DESIGN, THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE CANVA PRO CAN NOT DOWNLOAD OR USE THE DESIGN CAUSE IT COUNTAINS PRO ELEMENTS, AND THIS IS A REAL BIG PROBLEM
I did the same and added link to my link but when i downloaded i tried to recheck if the link is working when i tap on the rectangle of my pdf no link is getting opened up. pls help
Make sure you’re not flattening the PDF when you go to download, there is a check box for this so make sure it’s not checked :)

Canva is available world-wide. Etsy doesn’t operate in every country so that is limited to sellers in the countries Etsy allows. There’s a list on the Etsy website!

Hi I am selling downloadable files that I make on Canva, I have 60 listings, I have had my store open since November 2022 and it is now March 2023, in the last 30 days my listings got 130 views but no sales, I don't understand what I am doing wrong, any ideas or suggestions, I am all ears.
