Let’s stop making excuses for terrible people
    A**holes
We all deal with things differently, however you can still be respectful towards people.
No matter what we go through we need to be aware of how we treat one another.
Some ppl don’t change no matter how you treat them.

I’ve dealt with an aggressive (narcissistic) colleague and I just grey rocked him. I never provoked him nor did I engage in his anger. Eventually his behavior was recognized by others and management ended up firing him. Apparently others didn’t like his aggression either. The garbage will take out itself eventually.

I've been in the reverse situation. Corporate forced our business to create a lead position for our team none of us wanted it but since I was the lowest seniority I was told I would be let go to hire an external person lead lead if no one accepted. So I ended up accepting (we were in the middle of buying a home). Even though no one else wanted it several people really pushed back when I started doing my new job, ensuring they did theirs within compliance, including moving things to hard to reach places and in ways that were damaging our office supplies and it took time out of the day to fix. Luckily I got a chance to leave.

Do that and it should NOT be like walking on eggshell. You do NOT have to like the person ... but, be PROFESSIONAL. If the situation does NOT change, notify leadership again. I am the newbie at my job, although I am a skilled medical professional. During my first week of training, one of the leads became pretty aggressive with me. At first I thought maybe that was her usual tone (talks very loud to make a point, kind of accusatory), but have realized that it seems to be only with me. I rotate through several locations and this is the ONLY person in the whole company that speaks to me like this, so I am making the case that it's not me. So I rotate back to her department and again yesterday I get the accusatory tone about something. Since she is the lead at this location, I cannot simply go over her head with a complaint about her behavior. And if I ask to NOT rotate there, I will have to explain why and I am not good at making up stories. If I quit over one bad actor, I will have to pay back a huge sign on bonus and put my whole life in upheaval, not to mention the way it looks to quit a job in 90 days... anyone got any ideas??
