Maybe if I was 6’ I’d find a gf 🥲 #shortking
Love seeing DH bikes getting attention again. Can't ever count them out for pure fun and purpose.
If you guys are ever in the Mass/NY area and need any suspension work done, feel free to hit me up. Setting up a suspension service business and love to help anyone out who needs it!
DH bikes are the most fun bikes hands down! We’ll keep you in mind when we’re up there but good luck with the business!
Demo the best !!!!
Those Michelins looks dope (& expensive). I haven't been on the bike scene since I was teenager but I used to run IRC MYTHOS on my DH Bike - Which are now like $70 for a completey unusable one which confuses me but ok. Then again, OEM GT BMX Tires (AAPro) are selling for perverse amounts too - which I have a whole shed full of.
good bike check! keep em comin! This channel rocks
🙏🤘
I bought a 2023 Demo a week ago and man,the performance is insane! At 5.10 (178cm) I found the stock geo totally spot on even with the rear 29" wheel the bike is pretty nimble and crazy fast in the rough sections. I do not like too much the mullet setup but I do not race, just ride bike park and fun stuff. I got DH22 front and rear too,IMO best downhill tire in the market, fantastic in any situation. That raw look is amazing. Good luck for this season!
Did you get a s3 or s4?
Did you get a s3?
Do you think s4 is ok for an 191,5cm racer?
Same bike … Same feeling 😂❤️😍
Man I thought you had your hands on a new intense prototype bike. Then I realized it was a demo also know as a size small intense prototype lol. Same same other than sizing pretty much by the look of it.
Not the first time this bike has been mistaken for an Intense proto🤣 I would love to ride one of them someday though!
thanks man im 6ft 1inch and i do think that bit is a problem that some bikes feel scrunched
Hay man, What spring would u recommend for 180lb rider. Thanks
which headset from works components did you use for the reach adjust? I just bought the demo S3 size and I'd like to add a few mm of reach
Running the Sram HSC rotors with Saint brakes. Was it all you could find or are you after a certain feel? How do you like the setup?
Love the feel/power of the saint levers. HS2 rotors are slightly thicker and seem to have a better braking surface. Pretty happy with the setup!
I've been loyal to Code RSCs for a while now, but never real impressed with sram rotors. Happened to try to Shimano ice tech RT66 rotors that came stock on a bike with a set of RSCs and that combo rules. If only they made 220s...
where are you finding the dh22s at ? Cant find them anywhere from a reliable source/
We are supported by Michelin directly this year so we got them straight from the source. I unfortunately don't know of a reliable retailer at them moment 😕
Sort of an odd question for you
I run a 2020 Transition Patrol, 180f, 170r.
What tips do you have for running DH race pace on an Enduro rig?
Should I do more laps? Or is a DH rig really going to help me unlock another level of race pace?
#Horns Hill Rider from 2008 era
I don't think there's any arguing against the fact that DH bikes can be ridden faster/harder than an enduro bike BUT that doesn't necessarily mean that anyone can hop on a DH bike and instantly be putting down faster times. In my opinion, DH bikes (longer, slacker, heavier, more travel) allow riders to be more comfortable on track which results in them being able to go faster. Typically, more experienced riders are going to see more benefit from the switch to a DH bike from an enduro bike because they are more capable of pushing them to their max potential. I just got beat by a couple enduro bikes at the last DHSE so I can't really claim that they are absolutely necessary to go fast, but they definitely help and are nice to have and it sure wouldn't hurt to add one to the garage if money is not an issue!
@@Blake_Cherubini super helpful insights!
Time to shop for a DH rig...
🤘👊
Are you 29/27/mullet on the Patrol? Would you still recommend the Patrol in 2023 to a beginner? I was mostly interested in the ability to go full 27 but convert back if I ended up not liking it, hard to find other bikes that allow you that wheel option, as I don't know what I prefer yet to commit to one wheel size. Otherwise considering a Spire/Altitude if I knew I wanted to commit to 29 or trying a Forbidden/Deviate with the option to mullet, too many options...
@@LastAphelion I have a full 27.5 2020 Patrol.
I don't like 29 back wheels on longer travel frames as they tend to eat my riding shorts... Haha
what’s the stem length? And spacers?
What are you doing with the title bar?
Put it on the shelf of parts that I may or may not ever use again😂
I’d buy them off you
