Couldn’t you tell in the actual King Dice fight that you can parry the cards instead of hiding behind his hand? I get it and all, but it’s very time consuming in my opinion
He does parry. This is a method to more easily do it, not to quickly do it. Doing it quickly in fact can be done in a similar manner by damage trapping and dashing over the glove when he pushes his hand forward during the animation

probably 2-3, its a fairly reliable method of defeating him so it wasnt so bad
