J B OMG Seriously?...A comment you candidly post to point out how casually some guy wearing shades stops by, lured by the music Vika's playing..and..instead of commenting on the fascination of the moment, this thread turns into a discussion on why this gentleman wasn't described as a black man?....Really?
Ya know, I really wasn't 100% sure about that either, but I didn't want to say "person" and use the sunglasses as the identifier instead of race because I knew someone would complain about me using inoffensive language. Vika, there's something very heartwarming about you taking the time to share the gift and the joy of music with passing strangers in a random public setting. The world needs more of this.

As a pianist you can’t follow the tempo, style, etc exactly as the original otherwise it’s not YOUR performance. We believe (at least what my teacher believes) that everyone should put their own emotion and understanding of the song into it, making it their style of the song not just copy the same thing again, otherwise that’s not a pianist, that’s just somebody who learned how to play a pop song they like on the piano for the first time. Outstanding performance, she could’ve given this performance at a closed room concert if she put in just a bit more effort. And she did not compromise just to please the audience but to play it Her way. Just beautiful.
Wow! It is always amazing to hear a cheap piano like this being played by somebody who really can play. It is a Yamaha B1 piano, donated by Elton John a few years ago. Clearly it is not the piano, but the pianist. Thanks VIka! It felt just like the actual song, Freddie forever.
I don't really like the fact that she mistakes ''emotion'' for rubato and staccato. Everytime she wants to show emotion she slows down the tempo waaaay to much and stops using the pedal, instead of using (de)crescendo's etc

This was amazing. I'm surprised the whole mall didn't stand by to listen. There were some tempo inconsistencies and mess ups but its gotta be considered this is a live performance of a hard ass song
Blister Monde It did tbf. At some points in her rendition, where it was meant to be played at a certain tempo to convey a certain emotion, it was played too fast. Also, a lot of the section changes were really off beat and I found myself sort of cringing when she tried to play the solo - it sounded shit.
@@kendal8039 It's her own rendition of the song, played on a freaking public piano on a train station. I'm sure it has many flaws, but i don't care. I would just stand there, listen to the music and would have a good time, instead of looking for things that differ from the original version. The composition of the song is brilliant and changing the tempo on the fly doesn't change that one bit, it makes this version unique. It seems to be hard for many people to just take the things for what they are and see the beauty in them. This is not a cover version which is true to the original, but it is all in all an remarkable moment in time for people, who witnessed it. I loved it and this time i refuse to search for a fly in the ointment.
You are amazing! I remember watching your videos a few years ago when I was really at the peak of my playing. Very nice to see some new videos of you. Absolutely beautiful!
If you guys played any instrument and loved it you'd know that playing perfectly and consistently isn't always the way to go. She's having fun, she's clearly putting a lot of emotion into it. Sometimes that means changing tempos or notes, etc. Basically what I'm getting at is, nobody's gonna play this "perfectly" or any other song for that matter. So stop complaining about the way she plays it. It's wonderful

WHERE EVER THIS IS IT IS BLESSED BY THAT PERSON FROM PLAYING BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY ON IT
Truly amazing how many people walk by in a rush to nowhere and miss this genius.
This was amazing. I'm surprised the whole mall didn't stand by to listen. There were some tempo inconsistencies and mess ups but its gotta be considered this is a live performance of a hard ass song
4:20 Thomas The Dank Engine Had To Ruin It
420.. the irony
2:42 Elton John in the background
Ethan Carberry-Holt I thought that also.
lol😂I burst out laughing when I saw that!
?
I cried... thank you for this amazing piece. You are fantastic. Greetings from Argentina
My favorite song in the whole universe! You played so stunning! Cheers!

Her train is leaving the platform
Vika Stringkillerella... .....love her energy.
The changing tempo honestly ruined it.
No, not really.
@@mrblonde609 200% agree...
Shut up beach
Fantastic in the middle of a pandemic 2020 seeing a talented young woman and listening to Fred Mercury's artwork! Thank you Lord!
意外にもピピピピとかがリズムに合ってたり味を出してたり偶然とはいえスゴイです。
Mercury will be proud!

2:38 a blase elton john walks by and checks out the public piano scene.
You are amazing! I remember watching your videos a few years ago when I was really at the peak of my playing. Very nice to see some new videos of you. Absolutely beautiful!
This is the best rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody I've ever heard by a single person, amazing work.
Ugh I was in London the other day as well, if only I'd seen this :( would've played the piano myself but I'd have missed my train
You're amazing!))
wow wish I was there
If you guys played any instrument and loved it you'd know that playing perfectly and consistently isn't always the way to go. She's having fun, she's clearly putting a lot of emotion into it. Sometimes that means changing tempos or notes, etc. Basically what I'm getting at is, nobody's gonna play this "perfectly" or any other song for that matter. So stop complaining about the way she plays it. It's wonderful
