Levi has to be the best host of any of the big manufacturers.
I really enjoys his presentations, especially with Dylan, and Yvan.
Thanks guys!
I think you can skip the yellow wool pad, and just go with a blue wool and the yellow foam pads for 99% of your 2-stage corrections.
Especially for DIY guys, this way you don’t need to invest into a whole extra range of pads for different sizes. For me it made a lot more sense (I run a 5”, 3”, and 2” DA orbital), I just got 4 of each pad color (blue wool, and yellow foam) in every size. If I was to go with another pad like the yellow wool, that’s an extra 12 pads that I’d have to purchase, which isn’t even necessary. I get at least 4 in every color and size, so that when I’m working on my vehicle I don’t have to stop and clean each pad as I go, I just switch them out to the next pad and keep working, then clean them all another day.
I totally agree.....finish is perfect
They not lying about these pads ,I use the cutting pad at my boi shop not long ago did a Honda soft paint the cut was ridiculous & it was less work to get a shine smh ...I was in awe the whole time ,now I'm going to have to leave my rotary alone for awhile rupes system cut & finish !!
What's up aquil!
@@MrDroid0518 whats good Joe
Lots of things been seeing you put that work in on fb and ig ima give you a call later
@@MrDroid0518 ok
At your what shop??
Rupes, the best pads on the market!?
PS. What? No clap hands-effect?
My opinion, microfiber pad SUCKS!😄
My opinion too, these Rupes wool pads are the best pads EVER. No other model/brand got even close. They are really hot! They work absolutely perfect and they also look so good. GREAT DESIGN! Hats off to Rupes👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Rupes not only make the best polisher machines, they also make some of the best pads :D
I previously used Meguiars MF Cutting and Finishing, and now im totally on Rupes, with their Foam and MF.
@@theragcompany Rupes are the RR of the Detailing industry :)
@@GstarCurtis i dont like meguiars pad
These detailing channels are freaking mind readers! I was just looking at wool pads a few hours ago 😲😲😲🤔 I can search products one day and the next day there's a video!!!!
Always enjoy your informative videos. I’m going to try the new Rupes system.
Dylan Rupes Claus? Oh my!
will these wool pads create holograms when paired with rotary buffer?
When do the black and white pads come into play. I. Use them to finish.
Not sure if you’ll see the comments now as it’s an older vlog but how many of the hello would you advise using to do a while car ? Thanks
Cool! cant wait to try out !!
Quick question not about pads, but about backing plate lubrication. I know the Backing plate on the LHR15 and 21 need periodic lubrication where it meets the shroud, but i've looked all over, and no where can I find what sort of lubrication to use. What should I use?

The grease the auto parts stores give you when you buy new headlight bulbs works great.
Yooo, I need one of those blue shirts 😍
Which Rupes pad would work best with my new bottle of P&S Playmaker?
We haven't specifically validated the performance of other products on our pads, but it is a safe assumption that the yellow foam would be a good starting point. The level of defect and your expectation for result are both variables not taken into consideration, but with the yellow foam you'll at least get a good assessment of the combo and if you need to go more aggressive with the pad choice you can.
@@RUPES_Behind_the_Scenes Thanks, if it not enough I could always go green !
@@MyGuyKirby or try the yellow wool! You'll be amazed at the performance - we regularly use it with medium-fine compounds to remove defects and finish out really clean with low-to-no haze or mircomarring.
@@RUPES_Behind_the_Scenes Yep, I was planning on ordering some next Tuesday from TRC on the Pad Tuesday special!
There’s an easy way to remove and change pads, the pads come apart when removing and changing pads.
The BigFoot Claw Pad Tool
Like the pads , not so much the polisher .
GREEN PAD !!!????
I will admit, I was somewhat of a skeptic watching you guys correct the paint with this system and no editing but, I just bought the yellow foam and yellow polish today to try out on a 2006 Black/blueish Honda Element.
It works ! Nuff' said.
both wool pads are amazing...the finish the blue gives with heavy cut compound on mille is really good...one stage made easy :D
These guys are telling the true. Nothing feels better than carrying a big bag of those pads.
Heavenly.
This morning I noticed they were added to the website. I come here and there's a video about them. Awesome!
This system rules!
I buy New formula of rupes paste, is better New or old formula?
Awesome video
Just the information I needed💞
I have a5' buffer you don't offer 5' in pads what should I do ty
5" is referring to the size of the backing plate, and the loop material. The face of the pads are 5.5", or in some lines 6".
Very helpful, thanks for doing this!
Thumbs up!
