Here in Detroit and I also found an abandoned McDonald's on Detroit's Northwest Side. This is also my second New Style McDonald's which is the Shoebox Building. The Abandoned McDonald's is located on Grand River near West McNichols. There is a Wendy's just down the road that is still open. And there is no other McDonald's located to,the one that has closed permanently. 6:16
While I have heard of these, I don't often see abandoned McDonald's very much compared to other abandoned fast-food places like Popeyes and Burger King. But its inevitable at times, it does happen.
Yeah McDonalds closed multiple locations on Oct 31 one in Centereville Michigan, South Bend, Broken Bow, Camden New York, Panama City beach, Kansas City and more
Wow. A nice big modern mcdonalds. The modern ones here are not that deep. I wonder if this was an older building that was remodeled. Here they have demolished many 1980s mcdonalds to build a new one. Great video.
Thanks for filming! I hope that they fill this building with something. Very new McDonald's. I know the food is not cheap anymore. They do have good French fries though.
You’re right! You pronounced Monona correctly. Sorry to see this restaurant leave. It appears to be fairly new. May have been relocated to a nearby piece of property with better access to traffic and customers.
I grew up in Monona and this McDonald's is on the south side of the city. Unfortunately that side of the city was always low-income and "rough"; there wasn't many black people in Monona but when they did start moving into the city, it was in that area.
For people that complain how he pronounces towns/cities Well, there are a few or many names I can’t pronounce properly regardless how much I try And I bet that’s what our guy here has The inability to say names properly
I just pronounce him as I read them but I know people in Wisconsin can get pretty rude when you mispronounce their names. Some of their towns are hard to pronounce up there
Super rare to see abandoned modernized McDonald’s locations

This one town has 2 working McDonald’s. I lived in Door County. The 2 McDonalds are in Sturgeon Bay. They do get busy or not.
I love when I went to WI I missed all these but you managed to track them down😂 I’m glad you got em, just a tad disappointed I didn’t personally 🤷♂️😂
Yeah I miss the Menards that was on the east side though. I think it's a school now of some sort
