Enjoying this video. I see a few sets of tables and chairs but not many places to purchase food. Reminds me of the Iowa malls that are Namdar. Otherwise, the mall is clean inside.

Used to work in Waterloo over 23 years ago. The face of Waterloo & Cedar Falls has changed so drastically. I miss Bishop's Cafeterias. We ate quite regularly, at that location in years past. I especially miss their homemade cheesecake.

Can you start putting the address to the vacant buildings?

Waterloo has a lot of vacant things near the mall. Crossroads used to be great anchor wise and everything.

My wife and I would go into Pier 1 Imports in Joliet Illinois and we thought it was always unique.

Thats the 2nd abandoned 7-11, the other is on Romeo rd. And yes access was horrible. Now they put a new entrance down by the new Dunkin. Too late for 7-11 though.

The Arby's in Countryside, IL on La Grange Rd has also closed within the last couple of weeks.

The, 7-Eleven Stores in the Detroit and Southeastern Michigan area are still open for business. And, there is two 7-Eleven Stores in Downtown Detroit that are doing a very good business. There is a old saying: THANKS HEAVEN FOR 7-ELEVEN! 4:01

This is my second time watching Oak Brook! Looks like a great place. Iowa has a couple of malls that are outdoor - both outlet malls. Personally, I agree with you. Midwestern weather can be hard to predict at times.
