Thank you for all your work! Your tutorials are by far the most satisfying all around. Spudknocker's videos for the American birds are similarly informative, but he lacks the vocabulary you show.
@@reiver1-1 He should focus on using other words than "very". It's not a huge issue, but hearing "very" for the dozenth time in 5 minutes gets quite frustrating. Still, I love both of you guys' videos!
Hi there, just subbed to your channel. I like your delivery style and and clear information. Your content is very high quality, even compared to some of the 'big' DCS youtubers, so I am pleased to be able to support a smaller channel. I am a very amateur DCS (and flight sim in general) player and am brushing up on the Mirage 2000 as I haven't flown it in a while. Having a 5 month old baby has certainly reduced my already limited time to do any gaming.
@@reiver1-1 I recently started a new (better paid) job, so have treated myself to a VKB STECS Max and Gladiator Evo as an upgrade from my T16000m. There are so many buttons I can map :D I look forward to watching through the series more :)
Is there a possibility that you could upload your tutorial missions to your web page so we could follow along with the YT video and also fly the mission?
Hi Stanley, I'm was in the process of getting that sorted when I accidently lost a lot of the .miz files, which made me somewhat annoyed and disheartened at the whole process. I'll see what I can do. I can't guarantee a mission file for every video. :)
I've uploaded the mission file for this tutorial to the resource site. Could you let me know if it works when you download it? It has some basic scripting in the mission file and while it works for me, I want to make sure it works for everyone. Cheers, R
@@reiver1-1 I thought that I had posted that the mission crashed and that I sent you the error message to your DG discord channel under the Globel>lounge heading. Don't know what happened to the post. Also, I have been away from the M2000 for awhile so I may not be the best one to test it.
Yes, you can. I have used it to detect ships and surfaced subs in the past. You will be limited to a range of 40 nautical miles in the radar search and targeting for air-to-ground ordinance will have to be performed in the normal manner, but you can certainly use it for seek-and-locate. In the usual fashion, they will show as a bright green return on the VTB when in VISU mode.

Thank you very much! I'll tell him he needs to work on his vocabulary next time we speak! 😅

How could I fly my mirage without you? I'm waiting for each of your videos with the greatest impatience and thank you for each and every one of them 👍
Wow, that's very kind of you to say. Glad they've been useful.
I wish I could do it for a living and churn them out quicker!

@@reiver1-1 OK. I appreciate what ever you can do. I may buy the South Atlantic map just so that I can follow your tutorials.
Just bought the South Atlantic on the next to last day of the sale.

u use soundmod for mirage?
Nope, just the default. I do use the alternative RWR tone for a missile launch but apart from that, it's all the base game default sounds.
