I had my misgivings about the actors selected but after watching several interviews with them and clips from the movie, I'm fine with the selection. Latana who played Rita is Jamaican and was so keen to make sure the culture was represented well. Kingsley shows a deep respect and regard for Bob and his talent and worked 2 years to get his mannerism and accent right. He sounded very authentic to me. So I'm on my way to see the movie to big up Bob Marley. And Rita first child was adopted by Bob..he met Rita pregnant and decided to take the child. Respect to Cindy.

I had my misgivings about the actors selected but after watching several interviews with them and clips from the movie, I'm fine with the selection. Latana who played Rita is Jamaican and was so keen to make sure the culture was represented well. Kingsley shows a deep respect and regard for Bob and his talent and worked 2 years to get his mannerism and accent right. He sounded very authentic to me. So I'm on my way to see the movie to big up Bob Marley. And Rita first child was adopted by Bob..he met Rita pregnant and decided to take the child. Respect to Cindy.
