    Just a small hint.
    I think you meant that the resistance is quite high when the varistor's voltage is lower than its specific voltage in 13':16''.

      Unfortunately it's quite tricky, due to IP rights. Having said that, I flashed an EMI filter schematics in this video starting from about 2:38. It features the majority of things I talked about - filters, thermistor, varistor, and such :
