I don't believe cats and dogs do hate each other. I had a dog for many years and he never chased cats. When I acquired teo kittens they sll lived happily together. I think dog owners like their dog to chase a cat because they think it is normal dog behavior but can't a dog be trained otherwise? What about guide dogs, assistant dogs, those dogs trained to work in the forces and police? I always believe that however a dog behaves is due to training or lack of it from the owners.

I miss having a dog and cat. They loved each other always playfighting but when the dog sadly died the cat was depressed for about a year
