- Drawing on the blues roots of her home in east Texas as well as the style of the late Texas blues rocker Stevie Ray Vaughan, 17-year-old Ally Venable is gaining attention across the country. As VOA’s Greg Flakus reports from Houston, the high school girl from Kilgore, Texas has just released a new CD with backing from some old pros.

Well, no we are 2 - 3 years from then and Ally and the guys have only improved so much. I'm pretty sure Texas Honey will be their breakthru album, it contains more pop oriented songs that can be consumed by anyone and those songs are still full of blues and soul.
Maybe th ebest blues player in the country.

Also I'm excited to see where she will be in two or three years 5 or 6 years who knows, I just hope she has a very very long career she deserves it!
