Full Time RV Life agree's with you guys, you look relaxed and happy. Thanks for sharing your journey. I don't mean that lightly. I know there are times when you just don't want to edit another video, shoot another video, drag stuff out, put it back, drag it out again... really, thank you for all the trouble you go through to bring us the fantastic footage!
As always, such great photography. Fly that drone! Nice to see your guys personalities coming out, going beyond just being presenters. So many great moments but my favorite was when Jen was complaining about being lost in the desert and her husband was probably dead and you, Dave, just walked into the frame from behind. Don't know if that was staged but either way, it was pretty funny. Poor Sweetie didn't get any breakfast burritos but she was too much of a lady to just help herself. Good dog!
I grew up in Cuba, about 85 miles south of there. Worked all around that area and loved all the magnificent scenery but OMG, seeing it from the air is incredible. Thank you so much for this video. WOW, absolutely love it.
New Mexico has always been one of my favorite destinations for road trips. Your drone views are stunning. As someone who's interested in geology and fossils, I enjoyed seeing the geology of the area...definitely fossil country! Yes, I've been briefly lost a few times in that type of terrain, especially on cloudy days. Thanks for sharing.
Another excellent video, that’s why you have 53k subscribers. Keep up the good work! As many have already mentioned the aerial shots are excellent. My favorite part of your hike was the vehicle buried way out there in the badlands, it was kinda creepy, cool and very interesting. I really want to know what happened! Keep having fun and sharing it with us!
Thank you Mark!! That's so awesome to hear that from you. The buried vehicle was definitely strange and brought up a lot of questions. We want to know too! -David
Ok heres the thing....those breakfast burritos.... because your in new mexico u guys need to get some hatch green chile for those burritos. It will change your life
David, you are getting to be the pro with that drone. Adds such value to your video. Keep up the good work and say hi to Thomas and Stacy for me. Love their channel too.
Thank you Jim that is really nice of you to say! 😊😁 Unfortunately we aren't caravaning with them any more, our videos are about 3 weeks behind real time.
Hey Jenni & David & Herd, enjoy the video which were very informative. Please tell Thomas & Stacy hello for me, and during the truck ride it appears that Thomas was trying to get his groove on or doing some wobbly cabbage patch version. Like you two, those " not Lost RVers " are really uplifting and inspirational. I kinda like you kind of people, can't get enough of such positive vibes. Alice looked so chilled, and Sweetie was all over that breakfast. Always, Syn Silver !!!
Wow, incredible scenes! David, you should get a pair of walkie-talkies, they are pretty cheap for some long range ones on Amazon. My wife and I use them to help back up our travel trailer. We have also found when we travel others we let them use one even in different vehicles for communication rather than cell phones because they are reliable. Cheers!
Oh, on another note .... if you guys are heading to Utah instead of Colorado be sure to check out Goblin Valley State Park if you haven't already. It makes these "hoodoos" pale by comparison and it's where they filmed much of the movie Galaxy Quest. Lots of camping in the area also. We have a video on our channel if you want a preview :-)
OMG! Love, love, LOVE your drone shots! Magnificent! That’s great you’ve discovered caravanning friends. I am loving what I’ve been seeing of New Mexico... haven’t visited in quite a while. Gonna get the Navion ready for a trip there! Safe travels you two!
Thank you Virginia! New Mexico has some pretty great places to explore and we really enjoyed caravaning with I'm Not Lost I'm RVing. Safe and happy travels! -David
Hi guys, Jen's lost it...too much gaming maybe! Haha. You should tie a lanyard to the drone so you can deliver truck keys, etc. to lost friends. And today Alice is a...towel. Super video as usual. Stay safe and keep up the good work. 😎
I always enjoy your videos. You take us off the beaten path. This place was outstanding. And thx for throwing in the recipe. P.s. Ally cat hanging off the corner of the counter. Made me chuckle!
Made the drive from Angel Peak to Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah. Yeah the road was rough, but it was worth it, beautiful hike into the badlands, didn't get lost. (And yes Jenni's joke was great.)
Wow! I grew up in the area. For the pass 15 years we've had the worse drought and often had to rescue horses and cows all up in that territory. Did you all notice all the oil pumps? There are so much fracking in that area. But that's another story. Anyways, did you find arrowheads? Well, enjoy and thanks for visiting and have a safe Rving. Ahe'hee
They're not lost they're RVing LOL That's what I would've said too LOL!!!! & WOW what a GORGEOUS VIEW!!! You guys are funny!!! LOVES/HUGS to all of you!!! Say HI to I'm not lost I'm Rving, I have subed to them awhile back.. Loves/Hugs to them too!!!
In an area like that with no defined trails, it would be super easy to get truly lost. I don't think I'd be venturing out there without adding one other item to my kit: a personal EPIRB beacon! And maybe a satellite phone. LOL at how Alice was draped over the counter when you got back! I have a cat who likes to sit that way on the cat tree! ;-) HA! Sweetie wants a burrito! (Butter because not only potatoes, but eggs stick to EVERYTHING!)
Looks like you guys are enjoying your time with friends...you all seem like cool people. The debris in the wash that you were travelling through was due to flash flooding during the monsoon season. The flash floods can be very powerful and come without warning....especially in remote areas with no signal. Take Care and Safe Travels.
I blame Stacy for getting us lost LOL! Awesome drone footage David, if it came closer I had my rocks ready 🤦♂️😂. We had a good time wandering around out there for sure. It was a neat place, so glad we went during a cooler part of the year. Safe Travels!! -Thomas
Come to Las Vegas ,NM Hot Springs and a castle as you enjoy the natural mineral water hot springs. Wild west plaza and Patrick Swayze's ranch is not far up the mountain.
Really incredible scenery; love the drone shots of the "weird" formations (from erosion-?). Beautiful sunset, as was expected! Was there a visitor center to give some of the history of the area? Hey, Y'all (Fate Unbound and I'm Not Lost I'm RV'ing) Be Safe!
Haha no, and there's no way I am risking losing my keys in the middle of nowhere! The drone has no compartment or anything on it. Would have been nice though.
That’s a great spot.... we were there last year and it was great. Did you hear the motors from the gas extraction? Unfortunately, they can be a little noisy in all the beauty.
Fantastic place!! I lived two hours south for 17 years. The reason for all that "stuff" in the wash? Because it's a wash, or arroyo, and when the monsoon weather hits everything floods depending on where it's raining. Yes, it was probably a car, or a sofa, or a refrigerator. People dump things in New Mexico, unfortunately. Hoodoos are incredible. What is the temp in your RV for the pets during the day when you're out? Thanks!
You two are amazing. Love the fact that you were set up right on the ridge, heck of a campsite. We are going to be there someday. We are basing a lot of our journey based off your reviews! We started our channel and would appreciate any recommendations if you check it out. Thanks! Mike and Missy.
Again, great drone work of truly stunning scenery. BTW, did you notice what looked like a falcon checking your drone out just after the transition at 2:00. It's just a slashing blur unless you slow the playback down.
I am deathly curious about those buried cars. You should've geotagged their location and shared it. Some other hobbyist into archaeological automobiles might be interested and we'd find out the story behind those cars.
I know exactly where it is and could figure out the GPS coordinates from google sattelite. However this is a protected area so they'd probably have to get a permit from the BLM office before doing any sort of digging. But I'm massively curious too!
What route did you drive to get to the wash? I looked it up, and there are several areas to explore. Some roads look like 4 wheel drive would be needed.

You have to cross the open areas away from the wash to get to the coolest areas. It does get scary 😱 though and you do need a GPS. For me nothing in the world compares to the Bisti Bad Lands
I notice the elevation there is about 7000 feet .... do you ever have issues with running your fridge on propane at higher altitudes ? Oh did I mention that the drone shots are more spectacular than usual ?
@@jimmcgee3111 There is lots of information on the internet about the difficulty getting the burner to function properly due to the decreased amount of air at altitude. Thank you for the reassurance :-)
Great video! I am about to embark on my first trip and I’m bringing my dog. I’m assuming it was cool enough in your trailer to not need AC for your pets? I’m concerned about keeping my dog cool while in the trailer when boondocking. Also, do you ever feel paranoid leaving your animals alone in the trailer for awhile? Do you always feel safe doing so? I’ve been told campgrounds are generally pretty safe and secure. Thanks!
22 years here in New Mexico, Love it. Belen
Sweetie is totally expecting one of those burritos! She was looking at you so intently!
She was hoping but didn't help herself. All the dogs I've ever had would have been on those things. She really is a Sweetie.

Loved the drone footage. Great area !
Amazing geography! Another have-spot to check out, Thanks!!!! Film work with the drone was unbelievable!

Looks like a great campsite and the badlands look amazing but I could see where you could get lost. That recipe looked easy and good.
It was definitely in our top 5 favorite sites. And breakfast burritos are delicious!

wow Dave Greatest Drone Shots EVER!!!!!!!NICE

:)
21:50 Stir in some Mayo 1 TlSp for every 2-3 eggs. Makes them FLUFF UP!!!
You should check out the Badlands in South Dakota and then head to the Black Hills in SD. It's so amazing there, it's keeps us going back for more!
What a long video! Thanks so much it was perfect. Very scenic and beautiful area. Haven’t seen anything like it before.

Most stunning video so far!...And, it was funny too!
Jenni you're so punny, and the dieing in the Badlands was like a scene from The Blair Witch Project. Lol. You two make great video.
Might be worth getting a handheld GPS for adventure like the hike, so if you get disoriented on direction, you can follow your track log back.

That's my back yard. You need to go check out Shiprock.
Your getting really good at this.

Love the dead not dead bit. 😂😂😂
That landscape is so crazy - we hope to make it there sometime. Thanks for sharing.
You guys are great
I loved Jenny’s funny lost rendition
Two of my favorite rv channels together, david did a. Great site review, but it just seemed weird having a site review without Jenny!
Come to Las Vegas ,NM Hot Springs and a castle as you enjoy the natural mineral water hot springs. Wild west plaza and Patrick Swayze's ranch is not far up the mountain.
You found Jimmy Hoffa!!
Beautiful footage! I've never been so thanks for sharing.

Haha no, and there's no way I am risking losing my keys in the middle of nowhere! The drone has no compartment or anything on it. Would have been nice though.
@@FateUnbound LOL...but your key ring could have an integrated locator ; ) That was a very cool spot btw. Otherworldly.
We enjoyed it there. The name is a tongue twister! Enjoy, nice to have friends to hang out with :)
Jenni that was pretty funny
Another great place to see some unique formations in rock and mud is Cathedral Gorge Park in Nevada. Great video once again keep them coming.
love your vids and your site reviews... always looking for places to take my mom in my RV so I'm going to try some of the sites you've reviewed
