We first heard this track through Jimi Hendrix’s powerful version, which completely blew us away. The intensity, the soul he brought to it, was unforgettable. Only later did we discover it was originally written by Bob Dylan, with those monumental lyrics that seem to resonate even deeper each time you say or sing them. Covering this song is another tribute to the music we fell in love with in our twenties, a sound that’s stayed with us. This version sits somewhere between Hendrix’s raw electricity and Dylan’s poetic force, capturing a little of both legends while bringing my own voice into the mix.
