Mercyful Fate deserves more respect. I guess it is somehow underrated. Talented musicians ! They are among the greatest ones. Sure, Diamond´s vocal catches anyone´s attention at first, but their musical combination sounds great.

Great musicans! Such a tight playing! The music is quite complex, and they still were a pretty young band. Much Respect! KIng Diamond's voice is something you can love or hate, nothing inbetween. I love him! He can tell ghost stories. His voice is not that extreme since it can convey moods and moments. A great singer and still a weird performer. Our darker sides cannot be denied, KD makes them show. Early Mercyful Fate would be crucial to modern metal and rock!

Man, Timi was one of the unsung heroes of metal bass. Should be mentioned in the same breath as guys like Steve Harris and Cliff Burton, imo.
