I have heard this all the times that police doesn’t have a choice but to blindly register the FIR as per the criminal procedure code..agreed they don’t have a choice but the police based on their investigation have the absolute right to arrive at two results; 1.Charge sheet if they find any reasonable evidence 2.The B report when there is no reasonable evidence. But police never files B report regardless of how baseless the allegations are from the women and the world is expected to believe that police hands are tied due to the law. This is a big joke.
