    Honestly, Milwaukee maybe the top TTI brand but when we are talking about 40V equipment Ryovbi has become the torch bearer. Sometimes, the added weight of 40V doesn't matter as much, I just wan the power and Ryobi delivers. I don't buy into their 18v line because of better options but I get it on the 40v line.

    Just got my fan a couple days ago. Seems very nice. Larger than I thought. I already had some 40V Ryobi stuff, so just bought the fan as "tool only." FYI, a couple other Ryobi 40V items that I use regularly and really like: 730CFM leaf blower (I own two). Powerful and quiet. 40V to 120VAC inverters: I run my router with these during power outages for several hours. 40V post hole digger: This thing is wonderful. I actually use it to make holes in my clay and rock soil for 1 gallon plantings.

    I wish someone would make that diameter fan on a freestanding telescoping pole.

    I'm glad that it's not ridiculously loud. My ears have enough damage already.

      It's crazy how even their leaf blowers in the whisper series produce a lower noise level.

    I also don't see the big deal with dB because a little noise isn't a big deal

    I've seen it in a bunch of videos and yet I'm surprised no review on it? How long have you had that ryobi rotary tool on the wall back there?

    Hey Rob
    I work for a contractor who often allow customers do take care of trash and clean. Right now were building a house where the customers have excused themselves for several weeks. I think sometimes it wins customers a little. But customers almost never do a good job with trash and cleaning. We have gotten inspection from government before where we got criticized for this. Can you do a video on your thoughts about this? How do you do this stuff, And what have you learned?

    I have the 18v, and it reall moves a lot of air,unlike the original m18, Makita and Metal bladed Metabo.

      No way. Unless you mean the 18v air cannon.I own all of them and the old Milwaukee is very loud but puts out way more air because of its design. On high the Milwaukee is a beast but loud like one.

    • @ConcordCarpenter
      @ConcordCarpenter  6 месяцев назад +1

      It does move alot of air - quietly

    Why didn't they put a brushless motor to get more runtime from a battery? Seems like a no brainer.

    • @ConcordCarpenter

      I bet it would’ve affected the cost significantly

      @@ConcordCarpenter I think I need to eat my words. It looks like the 20" model is brushless.

    Cfm specs ate very deceptive. I bet this fan probably moves less air than a 20 inch industrial fan. What I hate about fan reviews is that you can't feel the air just the person's word because everyone's definition of a ton of air is different for many people. Those that sweat alot might take someone's word for a ton of air ,purchase the fan then be like I thought it blew more than this

    Im a little disappointed with this ryobi fan. Please everyone out there don't fall for the cfm specs on any fan. I just got mine today. It's rated for 6300 cfm but it puts out maybe a tad more air than my 18 inch Milwaukee that's rated for 3300 cfm. I can't believe I fell for these specs again. I did the same thing with the Dewalt 7 inch fan awhile back. Everyone was praising it up on how much air it puts out. I even asked someone to compare it to the Milwaukee jobsite fan and they said yes it blows more air but that's a lie. I really thought because it's a 20 inch and a 40v it would perform better but it didn't. Milwaukee wins again for me. The only problem is the Milwaukee 12ah only last like 4 amd a half hours. I live in a hot country and we're more concerned about the force of the air not specs.

      Same. Not sure why I was expecting gale force winds lol but it just seems to put out a gentle but steady flow of air on high speed. Great when your close to it but meh. I'll give it more time.

    • @weldonpinder7295
      @weldonpinder7295 2 месяца назад +1

      @gmax341 It's kina a let down because it's a 40v tool. The Milwaukee 18 inch 18v fan puts out about the same as this one

      @@weldonpinder7295 I just got it today and first time using it, wasn't too impressed. Just gave it another run (all on AC power) and it's not too bad honestly. Wish the fan speed was faster. It is a bit pricy for sure. For around the same price I think you can get one of those huge metal shop fans that really move air. I'll try to keep an open mind about the Ryobi fan for now.

    • @weldonpinder7295
      @weldonpinder7295 2 месяца назад

      @gmax341 believe it or not. To me the best fan ryobi ever made is the 18v clamp fan. It's a beast for its size. It's still disappointing because it's a 40v tool and it should be able to put out more than it does. The high speed should be medium and medium should be low and the high should be higher than it is

    Hey I need to know before I purchase this fan. How would you say this fan stacks up against a traditional 20 inch industrial steel blade fan

      @ConcordCarpenter box fans are crappy but thanks for the feed back. I'm not from the usa amd if I order one there's no going back. I'm sure I'll be satisfied. I live right next door to Florida about 250 miles in the bahamas
