Well that answers Onidamashi's questions, the only thing I still don't understand is how Keiichi was stabbed so many times and didn't die otherwise Rena died because she was hit in the head several times by a clock? A knife is much more lethal, this scene still bothers me it doesn't make sense
Just like how getting shot in the foot won't kill you, getting stabbed in the intestines won't either. Nor will getting stabbed in the lungs if the pulminary blood vessels are missed. A sharp metal object to the temple, on the other hand, could easily result in brain hemorrhage and death. It's all about location, which is why unknowledgable Rika took ten stabs to kill herself while Satoko did it in one slice.
Okay guys so imagine this same exact scene except every time gratuitous amounts of blood explode from rika's body replace the sound with that one meme fart sound effect used in 21st century humor memes
Honestly, same. I used to symphatized a lot with Satoko back in S1-3, because sadly, she's pretty relatable to lots of people who deals with abuse. But damn she's gone full mad now. I both hate and adore Gou and Sotsu for that. It really shows what untreated trauma could become.
I like Satoko more now for some reason. I don't approve of her actions though especially hurting her other friends. But I get how she might feel especially after learning everything Rika knew about her brother and all that other stuff. She did try the more peaceful methods first and even gave Rika a second chance.

I'm a little confused... at the end of Gou episode 5, Mion said that the cause of death was both of them being stabbed in the neck multiple times. Rika did that, but Satako didn't; wouldn't the investigators have noticed that difference?

Before Higurashi Gou, it was said that whenever Rika dies, Hanyuu transfers Rika's memories and spirit to another parallel universe (which they call kakera/shard) where Rika can start all over again, while the reality where she dies continues to exist. That's the case right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Need to make sure of this before figuring out the complications of Satoko's own looping power.
