Such a lovely Airstream camper. You can see the quality that Airstream is known for, and I think it is a perfect size camper for two people as you said, Andrew. I especially like the separate shower in the bathroom, which I imagine most people do. In my opinion, this Airstream model offers all the amenities needed for comfortable traveling. Thank you, Andrew (and Dougal, as well), for this delightful and informative Airstream tour.
Oh I really, really love this! The lounge area is fantastic and being able to change it into a dinette is brilliant! Lovely big fridge-freezer and separate shower, a big thumbs up from me! Then there's the lovely bed! This one gets a 12 out of ten from me!! Love these walk throughs really enjoyed this one! You're so good at this!! Love to you and Dougal! Bless him! Tons of love (I'm feeling generous!!) Plus, I'm celebrating losing 3 stone!! xxx
Hi Andrew Such a lovely way to relax watching one of your Videos, 1st Class as always. Thank You for sharing, this Airstream is sheer bliss & I love the lay out. Lovely to see You & Dougal take care, lots of love XX❤️
I don't need any caravan right now. But I must say I appreciate your tours and insights into camping, caravaning and vanlife. Your tours and comments and pratical/critical approach is so useful, for newbies and experienced ones alike. So many things I might not have thought about. Clearly you speak from experience. Actually it makes me very impatient with other RUclipsrs as most don't come close to the quality and professionalism and honesty of your tours. You are top of your league. Please keep them coming. Take care. And of course I enjoy the Hellooooo and Dougal. Greetings from Luxembourg.
Thank you so much! Yes, I can only be honest as I am not intelligent enough to be devious ;) Fingers crossed, I intend to be visiting your beautiful country in September, as long as it is still permitted.
@@andrewjditton I hope you get better weather than what we've had in July with the flooding. Though it wasn't by far as bad as in neighbouring Germany. Have you seen that Patascha's World have released a whole series on YT and published a boom about Roadtrip Roadtrip Luxembourg, sort of The great Tour of Luxembourg. I can really recommend it. At least if your familiar with German. I'm not sure if they have an English translation yet.
Lovely, lovely trailer and great layout for the UK. I’ve got a continental sided door and usually go nose in if we’re on a big site which does put my bed next to the road which can be annoying. Thanks for the tour :)
Very cool although very pricey. one possible opportunity for you might be to show how to drive on windy roads when towing one of these. We just returned from a road trip down the Oregon and Northern California coast which has lots of switch backs and hair pin turns and heaven help you should you encounter one of the "newbie" drivers who obviously bought during the pandemic but haven't learned how to steer with the caravan attached. As always, loved the music.
Great!!!We were waiting for this one for a long time🥳🥳 Hope 684 is next.. The new facelift😞 even the bright pink cushions can't brighten up the gray dull interior... Everything looks so gray and cold...Why😢😭..
Nice! Just a dream away, although I will admit this is not my preferred model of the range available to us in UK, but this is immaterial atm… 😂 Thanks for showing us around another dreamboat Andrew… 👍🏻
Indeed, £87,195 is a staggering amount of money. It’s hand built in the USA and to many achingly stylish. I don’t think I could bring myself to part with almost £90k for one though.
@@batandball617 I agree, no way would I pay that amount of money for any caravan! However I'm sure there are some that are happy to buy one. There's something for everyone these days thank goodness.
Not so long ago they looked expensive at forty grand. Anyone who bought one then is laughing all the way to the bank. Lot of money but you pay thirty grand now for a leaky white box These last forever
Hi Andrew, great video. I look at this beast with all its amenities and consider the differences with my waggon that I'm rebuilding (think prairie waggon), well, I do have power (solar), a shower (garden sprayer and small pressure sprayer), bed (hammock) so I guess I'm almost up to this level of living :)
Great video Andrew! I'd love an Airstream, and something like a Tesla model X to tow it... :) But until I win the lottery I'll have to stick with my own dog-friendly van conversion... :)
Hi Keith, it's down to the maximum load on the axle and chassis. The 604 is built on the same axles and chassis as the 684, hence the wopping upgrade you can do. They would probably save a few kg by putting it on a less rugged chassis which would appeal to the lighter end of the spectrum, so it's all a balancing act.
Sorry Andrew, much prefer our Elddis Affinity 554. It seems to me that it's better equipped (electric ring on hob + grill etc although smaller fridge) very comfortable, spacious, lighter, and at around one third of the price of the Airstream why spend that much - unless you want to, of course !
Hi David, it's horses for courses. But do check out my video about how an Airstream is made, and then ask yourself why no UK/EU manufacturer has invited me to spend an entire week on the factory floor with no filming restrictions. ;)
This comment is to all caravan manufacturers. I'm 195cm tall, when I was a young bloke I didn't meet a lot of people my height. Today there are loads of people as tall & taller than me. I wouldn't buy any caravan regardless of price to have my feet dangling off the end of the bed. I went through the inventory of several major manufacturers before I found a caravan with a decent size bed. I'm sure more and more people are having the same issues.
We’ve just started with motorhoming but I’m starting to feel the draw to a caravan already. Having just done Wales with the motorhome with my partner following me in our car, caravans are really starting to appeal. I did consider a caravan while shopping for the motorhome but we’d only just purchased our car which is not suitable for towing. Also my partner thinks caravans aren’t cool, I think she’d agree that Airstreams are amazingly cool caravans!
Still prefer the layout of your Airstream with the rear bathroom and no fixed bed. Fixed beds are a huge waste of space in a caravan but for some reason people like towing all that dead space and weight around!
Thank you so much Andrew for the review of this beauttiful caravan. 👍🇨🇵

I like the rear lounge area, especially the dark blue seating. Airstream are definitely a lifestyle choice 👌
Cheers Graham! Apparently you can choose from over 60 colours of upholstery (which I found out afterwards). I think I'd be paralysed by such choice :)
@@andrewjditton I would be too 😂Choice is wasted on me 😵💫
Nicely done, as usual. Cheers to you and of course, Dougall.

I guess it's all personal... I do find it less stark than the white of my furniture.
You are 'the caravan expert!' 🚗🚌👍x
Ha ha! I would never bestow such a title upon myself... But thank you :)
Gorgeous but I don’t fancy towing. It would be great if it was the same but as a camper van, I’d have it then. Hi Dougal.
This is a gorgeous Airstream! As an American I wish they’d left off the flag duvet. Oh well, thanks Andrew 😃
Very nice too but super heavy as far as we are concerned. Mega bucks as well! X
Production values second to none, making excellent viewing. Well done Andrew. 👏
Thank you!
Very nice indeed 😊

What a lovely caravan with a great layout but what a price tag.
Such class.
I'm positively underwhelmed by this caravan. At £87,195 I'm astounded! Great review, nicely done as usual though.

You and me both, Tom! Thanks for watching.
Lovely piece of kit. Thanks. One dumb question. How do they upgrade the carrying load if you require it? Cheers Keith.

i love all your videos but disappointed that you didnt "Hello" in the bathroom mirror (even with mask on)

Slide out shelf was arse about face. Needed sliding mechanism on the left not the right.
The ultimate one man & his dog caravan. Yes, it suits Dougal down to the ground. You know you should buy one.😎
And now we can’t see your smile either 😔
Don't worry - the rest of the Airstream tours will be outside :)
Ffs Andrew, ditch the mask!
It was a requirement of the dealership at the time.
Hope you got the £85k you need to buy it.
Ermm.... I wish!
Dear Andrew,
Please stop these Airstream films. I absolutely love them and have no need for one at all. 😉

Sorry Paul! Only 3 more to go... ;@)
