Only Jaques could make a simple dessert that looks great and tastes great. The other TV cooks could never create something like this. Jaques is a master chef.

Using honey or jam to macerate the strawberries is a wonderful idea. The natural sweetness of the honey adds more depth than sugar alone.

Very similar to my Grandmother's. Sometimes she would use apricots from her orchard.
