  • If you had the deep pockets of a King, and petrol running through your veins, what would you collect? Here we celebrate the automotive passion of King Hussein of Jordan. The museum was build by the current King, Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to share the history of his father through his love of anything automotive. I hope you enjoy the look around?
Whether you're a car lover or just looking for an exciting day out, the Royal Automobile Museum is the perfect place to go! This museum is well-worth a visit, and you won't be disappointed.

Hi, I built this replica Cobra in Australia and shipped it to Jordan to start a small replica car industry there. Sadly the day it arived in Amman the first Gulf War started so my plans were scuppered. I worked for His Majesty at that time and presented this car to him. It was a spectacular replica with a 480 HP ford Cleveland motor and top speed of 212 mph. Its sad it is not being used and sitting ia a museum now.

I made a mistake in the commentary. I said that the 1952 Lincoln was before he was born! He was of course born in 1935, and crowned in 1953. I meant to say before he was crowned. Apologies. Ed
