In this video, I take it back to my old video style of producing drops from genres while showing the whole process of reworking and moving forward. I utilize a brand new soundset coming out tonight to make a Future Rave drop like Morten, Guetta, Achilles, and many more Future rave producers. Watch the process of keeping the track simple and processing to get a big sound for the final result. I also show you guys the creation of 2 melodies and the approach to making them sound epic and emotional.

Curious if you guys enjoy these type of videos more? I used to make em a lot but I got caught up more in trying to keep up with the RUclips algorithm and always felt these videos were too long… let me know any input is greatly appreciated
Yes we do we can learn so much from you when you just produce like this on a free flow, please do more videos like these!!!!
i personally love these long format videos.
🔥
yes pls!
This type of videos are cool, you should do the same but with a tech house drop
Wanted to say hi as one of the silent ones on RUclips. I was a DJ from the early 70's to the late 90's working up from the mobile DJ's to the clubs. I started on Garrard SP25 turntables that couldn't be speed controlled apart from holding the platter down ending up with Technics SL 1200 which was a breakthrough. Bought my first Midi keyboard with a basic interface into a very slow PC triggering samples from a Roland sampler...Far away from these days and far earlier than David Guetta's. So feeling lost out on the new ways of producing the sounds you show using Ableton or FL Studio which I'm so tempted to buy and bring memories back tinkering around in my room as I did back in the 90's Just love the way you build the tracks and wanted to say thanks for the basic training for me to learn from scratch in my later years. I have many thousands of vinyl records I'd love to sample hooks from, just need to learn the basics I guess. I only beat mixed but never learnt music keys which I'd love to understand more than just the Camelot wheel . Anyways...Keep this up, superb to watch your video's, regards from an old DJ...
Glad to hear you enjoyed this man and thanks for the insight into your musical journey. Always enjoy hearing these perspectives. 🫂
OMG WE GONNA GET A FUTURE RAVE PT2 PACK?!?!?!? Ngl your first pack turned me into a Future Rave main. I fucking LIVE the genre now and I owe that to you.
zen, you're a funny and likeable dude - screw those comments, talk man, TALK
the genre I was looking to make this month. thanks man for everything you do. love the commentary; don't stop
Just bought the pack. You are a badass! I'm an old school techno fan since the days of Berlins Love Parade. You are inspiring me to finally get a song written after 20 years of hearing the music in my head and having no idea how to make it. Thanks man. You are a great human and a good teacher. Love how you FEEL the music not just hear it.
Too kind sir I appreciate the support :D
I mean while I love all of your content and can hear you talk about whatever this video is actually really helpful🤘🤘
For what it’s worth, I’ve always enjoyed your commentary.
Thanks bro :) he meant it more like I stopped making styles of my old videos where I wouldn’t care about editing and just produce. Some people would just follow along and that was really helpful for them. I’m thinking of bringing them back if enough people ask!
@@ZenWorld EDM Tips is a regular on my watch list as the "Just watch over my shoulder while I do it and talk about it" is a great way I can pause, try and DO IT.
Mission accomplished. I just took one of my songs that I labeled V1.7 "trash", and renamed it V1.9 "back on track". Keep it up! Thanks man.
Look forward to seeing all the vids you make on future rave
I always learn something new watching you! Keep up the great work brother!
So good ! Love this type of video thx for the pack by the way !
How does this video only 14k views? Needs to be seen!
Great to see your process of solving problems on the fly
Keep dropping knowledge. Keep speaking your musical truth. I love the detail instructions.
Yes we do we can learn so much from you when you just produce like this on a free flow, please do more videos like these!!!!

finally u came back to FUTURE RAVE :) thanks alot ! wish u will make a video about DAVID GUETTA & MORTEN - ALIVE :) 🙏
your videos are fucking goated bro keep it up
wow, massive! the next pack is gonna be in Future Rave style? 😉
What you could have done to the lower notes that sounded little bit bad, instead of the velocity trick you could have had the lead duplicated and from there processed the lower notes differently and also adjusted the volume etc.
Do you mostly use abletons Stock EQ? Rather then a dynamic eq?
Basstheory, so you just use a sidechain when the bass is not in phase with the kick? what is when kick and bass are in phase, means they just summ both frequencies up and dont have to be sidechained? 🙏
Hello Sir, did you release this track? i would like to buy it if possible :)
Shout out
I like listening to your rambling 🤣
Thanks :) the reality of making music glad to hear someone enjoys the slower pace of it
@@ZenWorld The subtle laugh every time you say David Guetta 😆
"Gonna saturate that hat a bit just to give it balls" 😂
A MIDI keyboard seems more comfortable to me, doesn't it?
eeaaaysy on the reverb plz
If someone were to create a song using only sample packs that came with something like Ableton or that they bought.. would that be copywrite infringement?
Idk about Ableton, but I've heard many people get in trouble for using Splice samples.
I feel a little.... DISCONNECTED! ;)
Lol, I did something like this couple of months ago. I scared the shit out of my wife.
there is around 100,000 tracks realeased every day. The majority of it is jsut bullshit average, and only 1 or 2 make it. I dont want to learn bullshit average, I dont want to copy anyone. Good video thou, but can you teach us something different? how to make something different? can you?
You learn to make original things by learning from the ones before you.
