That is basically my opinion no the three of them as well. It sucks to me how so many fans show no sympathy to Buddy. But she was very clearly traumatized by the events of Painful.
Holy shit! I immediately got teary eyed when they synced up with one another! Thank you tons for putting this together, I have always kinda had this idea in my head. I am so glad to know that they match up so well together. Also, I imagine it to be like what Rando is saying to brad vs what Buddy is saying. Buddy: "Brad, I hate you." Rando: "Dad, I love you."
@@goncalocarneiro3043 Dusty would have forgiven him in an instant if Brad had given him half a chance. Maybe Brad knew that. Maybe that's why he never did.
@@VeryPeeved Very, VERY well stated. As we saw in the delusion state of Buddy's memories of Brad, Brad spoke about this briefly. He mentions that love is terrifying because it means he has to step out of the darkness so that he can heal... However, in this same case with Dusty, Brad so hostile at that point in his life that no amount of love could pull him back. This is also spoken about by Buzzo, when he tells Buddy that "Not even Dusty could do that..."
thank you for this. very hopeful and common, if you think. Buddy forgave Brad and accepted him, like "ok, he's My Dad". and Rando... he always was good, he did nothing wrong. good work!
Buddy was at a bad place he helped her get out of it. It took him dying to start that process fullu. Rando and Brad helped shaped buddy in big ways it'd be wonderful to see the fruit of their efforts in the future.
She didnt hate him for trying to protect her, she hated him for keeping her in a hole trapped for years, barely allowing her to talk to her uncles and forcing her to kill people at a young age. Of course he meant well, but it doesnt mean it was the right thing to do. Not to mention the incredible stress she lives under, constantly having to worry of being assaulted or killed. She has a right to be angry at him and she couldnt have known that he meant well.
@@cowboysandallthegoodstuff3713 I mean, in that world? Brad was right to train her to kill as soon as he could. Otherwise, she would have NEVER survived the second game, or even the first boss.
the hard part is from buddy's point of view brad was controlling her and restricting her freedom. every story looks different based on who's side you're seeing, brad meant well and cared about her more than anything in the world but her anger isn't unjustified
@@curiousauthor9827 To be fair, as soon as she is out she should be able to see that she was hidden for good reason. If Brad hadn't taught her how to kill she would 100% be dead
Brad, Buddy and Dusty... They all deserved better. LISA is so good at depicting the cycle of aggression it's amazing.

Buddy was Brad's hope.
But Dusty was his past.
It always goes back to him.
Dusty deserved better

Their perspectives on Brad were truly antithetical. Rando was the most forgiving person in the world, while Buddy saw only the negative.
