  • @phil4002
    @phil4002 9 лет назад +67

    Cameron has
    made Britain the fastest growing economy in the developed world,
    took people who earn 12500 and under out of tax,
    created 1.8 million new jobs,
    capped benefits at 24k,
    cut fuel duty,
    created apprenticeships,
    help to buy for first time buyers,
    halved the deficit,
    cut corporation tax to encourage international corporations to move to Britain
    created sanctions for job seekers who don't turn up to sign on to look for jobs
    promised a eu referendum
    and much more that I cant remember
    and that's in 5 years

    • @phil4002
      @phil4002 9 лет назад +3

      The 12500 has been promised for next term. The deficit has been halved as a percentage of gdp. Corporation tax has been cut and will be cut further and corporations are going to be made to pay this next term. I disn't look foolish until you started disagreeing with me. I can provide sources for each of my point ps made except for cutting fuel duty you were right it has been frozen.

    Question: When an MP says a word that is unkind or insulting, and refuses to withdraw it, he is asked to leave the Commons for the rest of the day. But what happens if the Prime Minister refuses to withdraw? Would he be removed? That would defeat the entire purpose of those weekly engagements.

      Andrew Brailsford UKIP are a bunch of Tories with red ties. They will never get into power whether you like them or not. This is due to the 'first past the post' electoral system. The Tories will detract from Ukip and vice versa, which is why Labour will win the next election, which I am not particularly fond of. Besides, the EU beats a lone UK any day.

    • @bloodmagiclord8253
      @bloodmagiclord8253 9 лет назад

      James Burton You've fallen for a few myths there.
      What you say about first past the post is largely true, it is very hard for a small party to make big gains, but I wouldn't say its impossible.
      Aside from that though, Ukip are not a bunch of Tories with red ties. I'm a member of UKIP, and quite a lot of UKIP members hate the Tories with a passion. The Tory party, since Cast-iron Dave "modernized" it, isn't even Tory any more. It does not represent Tory values such as social conservatism, capitalism or neo-liberalism. In practice, all the Conservative Party is, is just another corporatist party; the same as Labour and the Liberal Democrats. That's why the big three parties all watch each other's backs when it comes to UKIP, because they are all corporatist parties, whereas UKIP is a capitalist party, advocating free market principles and also libertarianism.
      Corporatism is a form of collectivism, whereas capitalism is individualism. Individualism is the opposite of collevtivism, and with all this in mind, any notion that UKIP is the same as the Tories is almost laughable.
      Also, less than half of our vote comes from the Tories, we are taking almost as much from Labour. Its a complete myth that we only take votes from the Tories. Oh, and we have purple ties, not red.
      The EU beats a lone UK - this statement is riddled with myth too.
      Firstly, this idea that the UK will somehow be "alone" outside the EU is nonsense. We have the Commonwealth, who we've turned our backs on, then there is NATO and our vacant seat at the WTO. We are the 6th largest economy in the world. Britain can and will thrive outside the EU, this is clear as we see so many countries who are much smaller also doing so.
      Secondly, you aren't really going to keep the UK if you stay in the EU for long enough. There is a reason why it is called "European Union", why it has a flag and an anthem, why it has a parliament, and makes the majority of our laws, enforcing more upon us with each passing week. Because it is a political union. Already our government has essentially become a puppet of the comissioners in Europe. Just look at the way Dave has to go to these people in Europe and beg in a small voice "Please sir, can I have some more". Its a very sad sight to see.
      And even if losing your national identity isn't enough to worry you, just look at the economic side of things. This is the same EU that has been in decline for forty years, whose accounts haven't been signed off for twenty years in a row.
      The entire thing is a collectivist movement, worshipping corporations and giving power to a centralised few in a highly anti-democratic manner (how many of the comissioners did you vote for?), just like any good socialist regime would. The signs are all there, you just need to see them. History has shown us time and time again what happens when collectivism closes its grip on a nation, and we are on a collision course with socialism for as long as we stay in this union.

    Don't forget that this is PMQ and not real politics, this was just designed to get people interested in it. Real politics is signing forms and going to meetings with one or two people all day long. Your country is in safe hands, but every now and then they get pissed off at each other and this is one of the few opportunities they have.

    Even 'c*nt' is too polite a word to describe Ed Balls. I didn't think it was possible to hate a politician as much as I hated Gordon Brown, boy I was wrong.

    Cameron found a floater in the loo in number 10, he carefully spun the discovery to blame it on the previous government.

    The problem is no one is willing to stand up. Years from now, when our descendants grow up and enter society they have nothing to look forward to. We have immigration problems, the tax and V.A.T. is too high, there's no jobs, businesses are closing down and the economy is on the verge of self-implosion.
    We need to find our voice and we need to find it now. The Egyptians didn't stand for their corrupt government, they spoke and they were heard. It's about time we did the same.
