I appreciate this video. I just ordered one of these, and it didn't come with instructions. I was able to follow along real easy and now my shelf is assembled. Thank you very much!
thank U for great video. insert shelves at an angle then horizontally lay in place. This is a great cabinet for quilters to store battings, fabric, etc AND a sewing machine/serger at very bottom. Also sticky clips/hangers will stay attached to external side for hanging rulers, etc. Very easy to move into a space when empty.
part J....make sure back edges center are "running" into side grooves, there should be no warp or open bulging vertical on back corners. Part N...you might have to gentle step on an N corner to snap in. IF u need to pop out a misplaced part and it will not move, spray lightly with wd-40 and use wide flat screw driver to gently pop out. I also use a clothes pin or clip to secure closed doors. gr-granny
My Hyper Tough 2-shelf cabinet came with NO directions, no phone #, no QR code; nothing! Grrrr. I'm one who needs directions and I will follow them. By watching this and one more 4-shelf assembly video, I was able to adapt the 4-shelf assembly to get my 2-shelf cabinet together. Thanks for uploading this. Edit to add: One video says the directions for which side of the back faces outward are wrong. Of course the "good" side should face outward. Maybe it's good mine didn't have any instructions! Short version for anyone reading this: Top goes on last (not counting the shelves which can be taken in and out at any time) and be sure you have the doors aligned so the "hinges" protrusions are correctly inserted in the bottom and the top sections before snapping on the top. Snapping on the top is what holds everything together tightly so be sure the door "hinges" are in the right position before you snap the top on.
IF something is NOT fitting, it usually is because something got placed backwards or into a non-matching slot. ALSO, I received a box missing part A roof....I only asked for part A and the Company sent me another complete unit.
I just tried to put one together yesterday. I hated it the second I unboxed it. The cheap plastic was warped, the plastic shelves were warped and bowed. Taking it back for a refund today. Trying to repack it into the box..... yea, good luck trying to figure that out 😒😠
The warping is intentional. The shelves are not supposed to be flat. They arch. When you put weight on the shelves, they will actually straighten out. This is done to prevent the shelves from bending down when you put too much weight on them.
Thank you My Friend ! ... Your thorough example helped TREMENDOUSLY ! ... If i had done it per the instructions , it would have been a DISASTER ! ... MUCH APPRECIATED 👊 ! ...
Was just trying to assemble it today (April 24, 2022). Everything was fine until I tried to attach the C's. They seem to be misaligned and won't snap in place. I've tried everything. Too far gone with the assembly to take it apart and return it to the store. I'll take a rest and try again. I know that I didn't miss a step anywhere.
Your welcome. This is the most underrated product that I have reviewed. Assembly is a bit complex and you cannot make mistakes, but once it's assembled, it's fantastic. I saw a cheaper version of this at Aldi about a year ago that was advertised as "Made in Italy". If I see it again, I'll review it since it was made of white plastic instead of dark plastic.
Purchase this was almost done putting it together and realized I had 3 H's and 1 I. Tried to call the number on the instruction manual to see if they could send the right part for it. They said they can't. It was walmart going to try and contact the manufacturer to see if they could send it. Because I don't think walmart has anymore. Really want to keep the one I have if they send the part needed it to use as a pantry.
I'm glad you asked. The one I showed on this video says 30 lbs per shelf. But I checked the Walmart website for the latest model and they claim 50 pounds per shelf. Here is the link and you can look at the specifications: www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-Plastic-4-Shelf-Garage-Storage-Utility-Cabinet-Black-Finish-HT-4SHFF-CABT-Model-Black/232715573?athbdg=L1600&from=/search
This was super helpful and I got it up in like 15 minutes because of you and disregarding the questionable instructions!

Thank you very much, it was very easy for me to put it together thanks to you for all your patience and for showing this video.

Many thanks for such a thorough explanation....
Thank you so much for your step-by-step instructions. You really helped me
So glad you posted this as ours did not come with instructions! Thank you!
Mine came without an instruction manual and an extra J piece. Your video saved me a lot of time and a headache.
Thank you very much. Didn't care for their instructions so this was a huge help!

Just finished mine thanks for the instructions do you think I could do pull ups on the shelf working out 🏋️♀️?

You missed the part on step 1 where you put N onto it. It is unclear which side is up.

Outstanding video thanks jim z
Appreciate your video! I was going to send it back to the store after I missed adding N to A / B 🙂 Awesomeness for one-hand recording!

My C's were also misaligned. They don't fit.
Same.
Thank you so much for this video ❤

Thanks for the guidance my directions were not very clear 😅
Awesome 😎
Good video. Very helpful.
Now how do you take this thing apart to transport it to a different location
It's not possible. It's designed to snap into place permanently. If you try to pry it apart you risk damaging it.
thankyou helped me alot
How much weight can the shelves hold?
