- Battlefield 2042 is SMASHING it once again..
Battlefield games are all on sale right now and this is leading to huge sales and concurrent player count. But BF2042 isn't the most popular game on the franchise at the moment. Maybe suprising for some but BFV takes that acolade due to its ridicoulously low price tag. I'm sure i'll see plenty of you on the Battlefield soon..

I know that many Battlefield fans don't like this one that much, the truth is I didn't like Battlefield, but on Saturday I bought 2042 at a discount and frankly I loved it, I spent hours playing it this weekend
Well worth getting Battlefield 1,4 and 5 as well if you're now a BF fan, considering they're only £3.50 each on Steam. Especially Battlefield 4 which is generally regarded as the pinnacle of the franchise. They still play brilliantly, and you might actually prefer them to 2042.
@@SirHilaryManfat I have bf1, 3 and 4, and the truth is they are good, but I am a cod and destiny 2 player, mine are more arcade-type shooters, this is why it adapts well and I like 2042

I'm with you. I was a BF fan for BF2, 3, 4. Than jump to COD MW1 and 2. But now I am back to 2042. I played the other again with EA Play. But this one (2042) it my fav. right now. I Think it better for the money because you can play old maps on Portal.
I've jumped back on battlefiled 5 because of how bad 2042 is but I can respect your preferences and glad your enjoying it.

Literally just bought this game cause its on sale and watching this while it downloads. I hope its as fun as some videos make it out to be.
You will not be sniping pilots out of nightbirds or hijacking gunships, just letting you know. What will probably be your experience is getting killed by more experienced players in the open and wondering how. That doesn't mean the game cannot be fun and eventually you can learn to replicate some of Squid's moves
Just to add to Battlefront's comment, you'll probably struggle in the first few games until you unlock some decent weapons and weapons attachments. There's some guides on how to quickly unlock all the weapons and attachments, on RUclips. Basically just farming bots, which is a good way to get some practice in and gain some decent upgrades.

The sad thing is that bf5 has a lot of cheats and DICE will not do anything and, less than 1 month, most of this players will stop playing BFV. Anti Cheat of bf5 is horrible.

the laser beam sniping requires no skill but i guess its fun.... i remember the bf3 days when suppression and bullet drop mattered ! not COD quick sniping . those days are missed. they try to replicate it some what in this game but it gone along with lean.
only problem is no rank and cheaters! Can't get 1:1 sens in every vehicle and normal aim, zoom etc

Im looking to buy 2042 because I wanted to hop on MW2 to just get the urge out to have a few matches. Now that MW3 is out it wont let me play 2 anymore. I heard 3 is absolute trash and 2 was already a dumpster fire. so im infuriated. Once in a while I want to hop in for a few matches. I dont care about the shitty campaign story anymore. I just want to hop on with nerds, talk shit and some how realize 12 hours has passed. Is that too much to ask?
