Dang bro you jacked that fender up lol… they are just a small things to worry about it. It can be fixed just put it that way. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Thanks for sharing the real life of you guys: wrong AirBnB, busted trailer. Very frustrating! And y'all handled it very well!!!!! And, in the grand scheme of "big deals", those were just added treasure for the bigger story: great families, great friends, great job. Y'all are awesome!!!!! Thank you so much! Many moons ago, my friend Greg and I planned a big trip to the coast for some saltwater inshore and offshore fishing. We were ready and at the last minute decided to take his car due to better gas mileage and sound system. We unloaded, and were getting ready to go launch the boat (which was on site), and realized that my car had the trailer hitch. At the country store we were bemoaning our "tragic situation". Our weekend was over before it started. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We would be relegated to surf fishing or bank fishing the intercoastal (not the time of year for this). An old-timer ( and I mean "salty dog", gray unkempt hair, scraggly beard, deep tan with fresh but light sunburn, and wearing full body, zip up coveralls like my grandfather use to wear, which he apparently wore to work on his truck, evidenced by the grease stains). He approached us as we were paying for our comfort food, Blue Bell ice cream, and basically said, "I overheard you fellas talking. I live next door and have a truck you can use." He saved our weekend. We tried to pay him, fill his tank...but he wasn't havin' any of it. We could not have had a better example of human kindness and southern hospitality and graciousness than his generosity and obvious risk from the forelorn strangers. Greg and I still talk about that trip and that man to this day. I don't remember if we caught anything (but as a fish story, we limited out :) jk), but I do remember the lesson: You never know what solutions will arise, or what the Lord will provide. Even if we had to keep the boat in the garage, we would have had fun. But I'll never forget how that neighbor showed what living in the south is about!!!
I know the Feeling Just did a Nations at Muskogee Lost a Prop, Engine through Codes, Broke Spare Tire holder on trailer, Cracked taillight on my truck, and Dropped my phone in the river and caught 1 fish. hopefully it gets better
That tornado sucked, it came through Noth Texas fist, it took out our local marina. Now all of the public access ramps are closed for cleanup and won't be open until July 11th. All of DC's jokes about Eufaula being OK reminded me a joke. you know what the motto is on Oklahoma license plate? Oklahoma is OK. Do you know why that is the motto? Because nobody in the whole state could spell mediocre. Final thought, if my Nest camera goes off and I see Jacob Wheeler standing at my front door, I promise you I let him stay, I don't even make him sleep in a closet
Wait till you find out how long it takes to get a torsion axel not to mention the expense. 3 to 4 months for the axel at a cost of $2,200.00 for the axel. IM sure you know that by now.
He probably already bent a torsion axel on his other trailer as well. It takes 3 to 4 moths to get a replacement at the toon of $2,200.00 plus shipping plus labor. Many boat trailers run this type of axel. There is no reason for them to cost what they do and to be out 3 to 4 months on delivery.
Liars poker we play it with 1 dollar bills. You lose you lose the dollar. Or whatever Bill you'd like to play with. And that would be using the serial numbers on the bill to play with.
