I really dislike people who presume to judge others purely on the angle of a youtube video. This guy is dean and head coach at the Beijing Traditional Wushu and Bagua Training Department. He's won competitions and trains under Lu Jing Ru. So next time you presume to judge whether someone is or is not a 'master' or whether or not they know what baguazhang is, maybe get a little background information. hmm?
it is not necessary to practice around a tree, but it makes it easier for the mind, to focus on the center of the circle (where the imaginary opponent would stand)
nice movements. I personally dislike that, in mainland China, they are forcing the snake step in every single ba gua movement. Proper Ba Gua incorporates this step, but normal walking steps are also used.
The cheng style bagua (Liu Jingru) mixed up with the yin fu bagua(He Jinbao) best cross training evero, soft and hard to complement each other, just look it up recommend, just an opinion, straight up lineage difficult to come across... Most of the ancient arts nowadays are broken apart so our duty is to put it dogetger z
Yeah I mean it, that way we can all together preserve it no doubt, let of the ego are wa are going to preserve it to benefit the human beings, come together for the benefit of our existence, stay strong brothers .

Truely love the video + soundtrack, thank you!
Five element theory > wood > liver > movement, growth. Tree energy is associated with this phase. Look up Taoism and 5 elements.
